Kingdom Hearts ~ A Path to Light
Chapter 4
Yuna was shooting down all the Heartless that were hiding up in the trees. They were ready to pounce on her at any given time without warning. Currently she was in her Gunner Dress sphere, but it wasn't helping and her Trigger Happy attack would only last for a certain limit of time. It was time for her to change. She was only wearing a Garment Grid that had 4 Dress Spheres equipped onto it. She had three to choose from. Samurai, Mascot, or Gun Mage. Yuna had decided to put on the Moogle costume as she would use the Dress Sphere, Mascot.
While performing the change, from out of her Garment Grid sprung the Mog Costume and it replaced itself onto Yuna. At least if the Heartless managed to get any hits on her, they'd have to tear apart the costume before they can get their way into her heart. The Mog Costume would protect her greatly.
Mowgli was frightened with the sight that laid in front of him. Seeing a young man with a tail being devoured by the Heartless and transform into one himself. He can see with horror the transformation coming slowly, with disbelief. Mowgli had to run, this demon would show no mercy, along with all the others around him. With luck, bagura was close by in a nearby branch.
"Mowgli Quick! Climb onto my back!"
Without hesitation, Mowgli did just this. Climbing onto the black panter's back, and just when a Heartless were pouncing towards their way, the same one with the tail and monkey face that newly became a Heartless addition, Bagura with Mowgli upon him ran just in time to get away from the attacking Heartless. It was a close one. They were running as quickly as they could, all through the forest. The Heartless were chasing them down rapidly. Running...Running...and Dodging...
"*Yawn...* Why are we watching these two? It already appears to me that
they won't succeed and be consumed by the Heartless as well. That Money Thief turned into one himself. We don't have to bother with those who fail.
Sora...make the orb show us one of the others. Either Tidus or Yuna
perhaps. I can tell that those two will come out on top and aid us in
gaining the Ultimate Light powers."
King Mickey was getting bored watching Mowgli and Bagura being chased away by the army of Heartless that appeared to be able to take them out at any moment. Ansem stepped into the conversation and Mickey's watching. He had something interesting to tell King Mickey about this.
"Your Highness. *Bows* This Orb shows them all, but it has been focused on
these two for a reason. I believe that perhaps there are powers within
either the boy or the Panther that will be very useful for us..."
In the next moment. Suddenly beams of Light shot out from the boy Mowgli. The Heartless demons had Mowgli and Bagura surrounded, all at once they leapt towards his direction. Once Bagura and Mowgli thought it was all over for them. Giving up was the only choice in this situation. Surprisingly, Mowgli hovered into the air slowly and felt he was going blank. Then from out of his body, many rays of light beams were shooting from within and destroying all the Heartless around them.
The Light Beams lit up the whole sky, and Tifa and Cloud, Yuna, were all close by, as soon as possible, they ran towards the origin of these beams. It was their safe place. From different directions, Yuna came from one, while Tifa and Cloud came from another. They watched with amazement, the boy who had brought out this power from inside him, and knew that they were safe, as they watched every Heartless vanish away into nothingness.
Once this power was away from Mowgli, in the next moment, Mowgli collapsed to the ground, having a heavy feeling. Something laid in Mowgli's hand lightly. What was this? It was some sort of Weapon. Yuna, Tifa, Cloud, Bagura, and Mowgli were all confused at everything that happened and this new mysterious weapon that just appeared.
Meanwhile, as King Mickey and the others were watching through the orb at the sight, also with amazement and surprise, at once they all yelled out together.
"The Keyblade!"
