Kingdom Hearts A Path to Light

Chapter 6

"Stupid Hummingbird. Get away from me!"

The Hummingbird kept flying around Tidus over and over again. It was really starting to annoy Tidus a lot. Why couldn't it just leave him alone? He just wanted to kill it, to get rid of it, to curse it! He attempted to swat it, and everytime he swatted at it, it flew around him some more, frantically, trying to land itself on him, or tell him a message of some sort, but Tidus was ignoring this. Swatting, slapping, he was trying it all, just to get rid of this pesky Hummingbird, nothing could stop it, but change...it did change, it transformed. It never went away, but its face transformed into Yuna's. Suddenly Tidus stopped swatting, and stared at the flying Hummingbird with Yuna's face.

Why did this Hummingbird have Yuna's face? What was this? Then suddenly it spoke to him. This scared Tidus so much, to hear Yuna's beautiful voice, but as a high squeak.

"Tidus..What are you doing? Do you still love me.....! Does your love lie
somewhere else now? Your Light for me must've faded away....The Path of
Light that connected us has broken..splitted away...Why....?"

Tidus was confused with these words. Why? What's with these whys? He had a why. Why did Yuna think that Tidus stopped loving and caring for her? Light? Now Tidus could see bright lights protruding from within the Yuna/Hummingbird, and it grew more and more as it covered the entirety of his body, but what was this light doing....

Suddenly Tidus woke up with sweat. A Nightmare? How could it exactly be a Nightmare? Something must've infested itself into him while he was sleeping to deliver him this dream. A servant that was close by to him immediately ran to his side, after seeing that he woke up from what seemed like a nightmare.

"Master Tidus?! Is everything all right? Do you need anything? You look
frightened..."

Tidus waved this servitude off, and told the Servant that he's fine, just a little startle that he had every once in a while. He didn't want to share this with anyone, or let this out, but it bothered him a lot, and at the same time, he wanted to talk about this dream to someone, to anyone. He realized...he had to go back to Yuna, no matter how Paradise was. Yuna had to be his Paradise, and even if he could live in Paradise, he should share and live with Yuna in Paradise. First thing tomorrow, he would go out to look for her, right now, he wanted to get some sleep, and enjoy what he had left of this Paradise...

"Hey? Are you okay there? That was quite an amazing thing you did there!"

Yuna had spoken to the Young Jungle Boy, Mowgli, once he was coming back to, he was looking around with confusion. He did not recall what had happened, but his body felt very heated, as if he was exposed to high sunwaves. Those standing around him were staring at him with concern, and wondering about everything that had happened. Mowgli got himself up, holding this Keyblade that was found in his hand. One thing was known, everyone were happy that all the Heartless that surrounded them were all gone once and for all. Those monsters are now one less thing to worry about.

Tifa was tired out, and as she looked up into sky that was filled with Darkness, it made her feel even more weary and weak. She leaned herself against Cloud, and he put his arms around her, and allowed her to lay against him, supporting her up in a comfortable stand-up position so that she could relax. Cloud himself was getting tired as well, very tired actually, and it wasn't just him either.... As the skies of the Jungle were growing Darker and Darker even more, everyone was starting to become really tired. Bagura the Panther had already fallen asleep, and then Tifa and Cloud suddenly couldn't stay awake any longer and dropped down to the ground, falling asleep as well.

Yuna and Mowgli were the last two that were still up, but they were struggling to stay awake. It couldn't be helped, Yuna fell asleep too, but Mowgli was still up, looking around at all those that fell asleep, extremely tired, he was starting to sag his knees down to the ground, but his eyes were still half opened. Unlike those bright yellow eyes that belonged to a Dark Woman, who was watching and waiting, up in a nearby tree. She was waiting patiently for them to all fall asleep, but more importantly, she was waiting for Mowgli to fall asleep. It would be any moment now...yes! Mowgli...finally....fell...asleep...
