Hehee, that's me! I'm finally posting a story. Whether or not I'll be able to finish this one before my Muse goes back to trying to annoy the hell out of me ::shrugs::
Well, that's up to her, or him... Anyway, I hadn't originally planned this to be a fanfic, er, more like just a post at an RP, er, some of it was, anyway. I just kinda look at it together and said, "Wow! That could be a cool fanfic!" Not in those words, but you get the idea!
Now, I'm warning you beforehand, this is going to be a, from what I've seen, typical Alternate Universe of Kaoru and Kenshin as the main couples, with some guest appearances, where Kenshin uses a katana still, etc. I will try uber-hard to make it my own, though.
Ideas pop into my head and I write them down and put them together, if I steal any ideas from someone else or another story you've read, I strongly urge you to wallop me over the head with my shinai ::holds it out in offering:: but if you think I might be going somewhere with it that will make it my own, please don't pound me into a pulp until I either don't or you've read the author's notes to that chapter.
And don't expect all the author's notes to be this long, some will be long, yes, but this is mainly to get the rambling out of my system before posting the story and letting you know about it before I do. Don't worry, I am finishing up the first chapter now, just need to stick an ending on and check for edits, if all goes well, it should be up before Halloween.
I know that's long, but I have almost no free time, considering a very stupid and spontaneous plan by me to post this NOW ::wallops self over head muttering Caro no baka:: especially with homework, school, and soccer. ::bows:: thank you and please wait patiently if this sounds at least somewhat interesting to you. If not, I beg you to at least check it out when the 1st chappie comes up.
So, an overview for all you who didn't feel like listening to my rambling:
-Dark, angsty AU
-KK romance with some guest appearances
-My first story
-Wallop Tanuki-chan with bokken if copying someone else (like now, Sorry Linay! I stole your nutshell...)
-Modern times in Tokyo...or Kyoto...Kyoto, modern times in Kyoto
-Kaoru-powers/ powers-target/ Kenshin-jail duty/ ??-kidnapper -you'll see who he is, and you'll recognize 'im too. ::grins::
-I will use Japanese randomly in here, if it's used wrongly or with no definition, just review and tell me.
-This is me rambling. Caro tends to ramble a lot. Caro will refer to herself in third person a lot as well, as either Tanuki-chan or Caro. You don't need to listen, as it might not even make sense. I will try to prevent myself.

Heh, longer than I first planned it...ah well, I can't plan for shit. (Sorry 'bout swearin' but Sano will probably swear a lot too. Only in Japanese. Maybe. English swears are fun, tho') Now that it's over, I'll shut up and just end the overview. Ja!
