Pegasus's Dream
The gentle breeze blows though your silky blonde hair. Your deep dark blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight. You giggle as I gently push on the swing in our backyard.
"Daddy!" a beautiful little girl with shoulder length blonde hair and calm brown eyes calls out.
I get down on my knees as she happily runs towards me. I gently embrace her as she tugs my silver hair and giggles.
"I made this drawing for you," she shyly says handing me a sheet of paper.
I set down on the grass and she sets next to me. I stare at the paper, unsure of what the drawing is.
"It's beautiful, Caroline," I say to her.
You set down next to Caroline, "May I see," you ask.
"Mommy!" Caroline says as she goes over to you and sets on your lap. I move closer to you and hand Caroline's drawing. You smile and say, "It's wonderful Sweetie. Keep practicing and you could be as good as your daddy."
"Really?" Caroline ask looking up at me.
"Sure your drawing looks just like mine did when I was your age."
Caroline smiles as she plays with your hair. You look up at me, place one hand on my face, lean toward me, and kiss me.
"Ewww!" Caroline says as she looks away.
You and I laugh. I get up off the ground, pick up Caroline and help you up. We walk hand in hand around the yard.
"Maximillion," you softly say.
"Yes, Cecelia, Darling," I answer as Caroline plays with the zipper on my shirt.
"I'm really happy to be here with you and Caroline."
"So am I."
We walk back to the swing and you set down. Caroline reaches out to you. You take Caroline from me, place her on your lap, and fix the light pink ribbons in her hair. Giggles fill the air as I gently push you and Caroline on the swing.
