If a ray of sunlight shines upon a spider
. and the spider absorbs its warmth -
and if the beam of glittering light
. detests the thirteen-legged arachnid,
do you not think the light would extinguish itself
. before the spider enjoys it?
And if a song is written to a certain beat,
. and that beat is shattered, torn, and tossed aside,
do you honestly believe that true song-lovers
. will appreciate and love yours?
