The more severe the damage they recover from, the more significant the improvements will be, effectively making prolonged battles more favorable to them. Saiyan Power seems to increase noticeably after each use.

The list goes on but it's mostly just the techniques that Goku has learned throughout his entire life, so it's not necessary for me to read through it.
"Goku! Get out of bed!"A voice shouts as I wear my GI then go to the kitchen, where I'm hugged by a small child and a woman in an instant.
This is none than Gohan and Chichi, my son and my wife.
"Hey guys, sorry for sleeping in for so long but I'm here now!"I say as I rub the back of my neck, Chichi just throws a sigh and goes back to cooking while Gohan goes to his room to study, which makes me think.
What if I were to become smarter than Goku originally was in the main timeline?
By learning things from Bulma, this in turn would increase my battle intelligence, which is very much needed since there are threats like Frieza, Jiren or even Moro if I remember correctly being alive.
But today is the day where Goku takes Gohan to Kame House and Raditz shows up, meaning that I'm gonna die before doing anything significant in this world.
Sorry big bro but I'm gonna kick your ass all the way to King Kai's planet for trying to mess with me.

Well, this is concerning but if I train in the [Dungeons] like I've seen Gamers do back in my first life, then I should be strong enough to defeat Raditz.
"Goku, me and Gohan are gonna go with you to Kame House. I could use the interaction with your friends and Gohan will need both of his parents beside him just in case things go wrong."Chichi says with a tone that doesn't give me the oppurtunity to argue with her so I grab the Power Pole then call the Nimbus cloud and we all fly towards Kame House.
We reach our destination after a couple of minutes of flying so we land on the ground and let Gohan play with the waves while I go and chat with the dysfunctional group Goku calls his 'friends'.
"Hey Goku, who's that kid over there playing with your wife?"Krillin asks as I throw him an arrogant smirk and reply "My son, Gohan.", shocking everyone there except Gohan and Chichi to the core, which makes me sigh in exasperation.
How was Goku this stupid and able to get married? Super Shenron must've done something because there is no way that Goku and Chichi could've gotten married unless it was intervention made by the Gods Of Destruction.
We continue talking for a while when suddenly, I sense a strong power level coming our way and sure enough, here he was. My own brother, Raditz, has arrived to planet Earth.
"Hello there, brother. Did you miss me?"He asks as he taps his fingers on his scouter as Krillin tries to attack him but Raditz just kicks him into a side of the house, Piccolo then lands next to me, making me sigh in relief.
We may have a chance to win against him now.
"Nope, not even a little. I mean, why would prince Vegeta would concern himself such as you, me and of course, Nappa when he can just swoop in and defeat Frieza?"I say arrogantly, enjoying the look of rage on Raditz's face while the others just look at me in pure shock at the revelation while I just drop into a fighting stance.
I don't even bother wasting my time and just start attack with a relentless fury while Piccolo, Roshi and Yamcha join in but he kicks Yamcha away from us while I manage to kick him in the face, sending him flying far away from us.
I then teleport behind Raditz with the help of Afterimage then kick him back to Kame House and use [Stun] to paralyze him, further angering him as I prepare a Ki blast, ready to end him should things go south.
"Alright, talk! When are Vegeta and Nappa coming to Earth?"I say with a serious expression etched on my face as I glare at him, he flinches and says that they'll show in two years due to them being on missions, courtesy of Frieza.
I knock him out and have Nimbus take me to the Lookout to speak with Kami before anyone can question me as to how I know who our enemies are.
"Hello Goku, who's our guest?"Kami asks as joins in on the greeting while I just reply that he's my brother and start explaining what happened, getting a look of shock and maybe fear but I m not sure as he then tells me to leave him here so that him and Popo can keep an eye on him and tell when he wakes up.
"One last thing, I need to go to the Otherworld tomorrow. Would that be alright? I need to start training for when Vegeta shows up."I say as Kami nods his head so I leave the Lookout with Nimbus in tow before remembering that I could fly so I fly all the way to Kame House, where Chichi is angrily pacing around with Gohan asleep with a couple of tears falling down his cheek.
I enter then I get punched by my wife, who's anything but amused at this point.
"Start talking Son Goku or you will wish you've never met me. All of you, take Gohan and leave the room. We need to be alone."She says angrily as Bulma quickly grabs our son amd they all leave, leaving me all alone to face Chichi's anger.
"Fine, the person who came to fight me was my older brother, Raditz and he is a Saiyan. A race full of battle maniac that can transform into the powerful things in the universe and I'm part of that race. My original mission when coming to Earth was to destroy it but I hit my head and forgot the memories I had of Planet Vegeta, the planet I originally came from. Even if that wasn't the case, I would've acted exactoy how I am now, although a bit ruthless and uncaring of what happens but that doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that me, Gohan, you and the others are ready for when Vegeta and Nappa show up on Earth."I explain to Chichi, who's anger goes to critical at the mention of Gohan fighting alongside us.
"Gohan is not going to fight with your half-minded friends, Goku! He's going to become a scholar and make sure that our family is thriving in these trying times because who knows when you'll die."She replies angrily as I lose control of my Ki before taking a deep breath and stare at her.
"I'm done, Chichi. I'm done trying to everything I can to please you. You're not in control of Gohan's future anymore, I am. If you can't do that, then leave. Leave and don't into our lives unless you're ready to protect the Earth. There are things that are more important than being books in and books out but you never cared about that, now did you? You just wanted to marry me so you could have child and raise him to be a fucking nerd. I fell in love at that tournament. Not in a restaurant nor a fucking board meeting at some random office job. A fucking tournament. I wished you'd remember how we fell in love because... you're not the woman I love anymore. You're a former shell of herself. See you later, Chichi." I say before taking off, leaving Chichi to cry alone and the others doing their best to console her but to no avail.
I need to become stronger to protect them and if that means becoming an asshole, then I'll gladly do so and besides, Chichi needed a wake-up call. Gohan's gonna have to take my mantle to fight against threats like Cell or Buu whether he likes it or not and Chichi's feelings are irrelevant in the matter.
I land home and go sleep on the couch, soon entering a dreamless sleep.
