A/N : The first and only thing I have ever posted in the Angel section of this site. It's essentially supposed to be a Spike POV, Post-Not Fade Away, that assumes he was the only one not to die in the final battle. Just something that I scribbled down inside ten minutes - please let me know what you think.

What now?
Should I be sorry that I'm the only one left standing?
Should I shed tears for those I lost tonight?
Should I be laughing, and rejoicing at my survival?
Should I move on, continue the good fight?
Would you be crying if you had been the one left standing?
Would you miss me if I was the one who'd passed?
Would you be joyful, and just so glad to see me gone now?
Would you be happy to be left standing last?
Could I be something more than I have ever been before?
Could I take dreams and from yours make my own?
Could I be great, a champion of truth and justice?
Could I survive and do all this alone?
Are there real answers, to all my complicated questions?
And if there are should we know them right away?
But there is one thing, that I am totally certain of,
My thoughts of you, they will Not Fade Away.
