Catherine found the door to his townhouse ajar. 'He really needs to stop doing that.' Entering quietly, she found him lying on the sofa, his eyes closed. "Migraine?" she asked softly.
He cracked an eye open. "What are you doing here?"
"Thought you could use a friend."
He sighed and sat up, so Catherine could sit next to him. "There aren't enough adults hurting kids, that other kids have to start doing it, too?"
Catherine took his hand, knowing there was nothing she could say.
Grissom squeezed her hand in thanks. Being with Catherine somehow made things seem okay again.
