As Jack stood in her office Sam wanted to cry. The look on Jack's face made her want to cry the way he looked at the ring box he'd just placed on the table.
Sam wanted to tell him it would be ok that they could be together that she'd forget about Pete and be his forever. But Sam couldn't Jack was her superior damn regulations. They could have been so happy got married or even had kids she swatted the absent minded thought away she was going to marry Pete and be happy wasn't she?
