New Moon, New Feelings, Closer Than You Think
Inuyasha sighed in his sleep. He knew that this was his night of weakness. The one night he despised greatly. The night where if there was even one demon to attack he would be killed way too easily. Good thing he had Sango, Shippo, Kilala and Miroku with him. There was also Kagome. Ah, Kagome. The one person that would stay by his side just to make sure he doesnt do anything stupid and he likes that. She doesnt critisize or judge. She just accepted him... Just like that. He woke up just as he started to tranceform. The silver lock of hair that was just in front of his face was black and his claws where gone. He used his toung to feel around his teeth and felt no fangs. "Yep", he said to himself. "Damnit to hell." He sat up and yawned, streatching his arms out. His sleaves rolled down to his shoudlers. He put his arms down and looked at Miroku sleeping at the bottem of the tree he was laying in. "Inuyasha, yer awake." Sango said. Inuyasha jumped down and walked to the fire that Sango and Kagome built. They where in a battle earlier and Inuyasha fell asleep and aparently Kagome did as well. He looked at the sleeping figure then the sweet sent of raman caught his attention. "Mmm", he smiled to himself and sat next to Sango. She poured him a bowl. "This is my first time makeing it so be honest." She said. Inuyasha tried it. Inuyasha smiled and gouged the whole thing down. Sango laughed. Inuyasha then noticed that Shippo and Kilala where asleep to. "I guess you like it." Sango said, pouring another bolw. Inuyasha didnt respond. "Isn't it amazing", Sango said, "That the six of the most unlikely people could become friends so fast?" Inuyasha looked at her with confusion and fear that she was going to talk about "feelings" with him. "A monk, a demon slayer, a half demon, a fox demon, a cat demon, and a human from a compleatly diffrent time." She sighed looking up at the stars. "It just seems..." "Un natural." Inuyasha finished for her. "Yeah", Sango said, suprised, "but it just seemed natural with us. Like our friendship was ment to be. It just seemed..." Sango stoped to find the word. "Perfect", Inuyasha finished again. "Yeah... I am gunna go to sleep." Sango said getting up. She layed in to sleeping bag and looked at him. "Good night Inuyasha." "Good night Sango." Sango smiled and fell asleep. "Sweet dreams... Friend."
