He Loves

Sam has blue eyes. Deep, wide pools of dark blue. Classic. He loves her eyes. He loves her hair, her skin (Smooth, except for the scars, but he loves them too), her perfect, perfect lips. Her long legs, her graceful, calloused fingers, the way she moves, the way she tastes (Salty, warm, rich. Addictive.). He loves everything about her, he loves her and it's scary how deep his feelings go, because this shouldn't be happening in the first place, he shouldn't be feeling this, shouldn't be doing this, and he doesn't know why he can't help it.

He knows he should feel guilty, but he's just scared. Scared she'll leave, scared she'll get hurt, scared someone will find out (If no one already knows), and terrified he'll screw up the one bit of solace he has in the whirlwind of nightmares and self-doubt that is his life.

He can't deal with how much he feels for her, so he tries hard not to think about how he's in love with her when they have sex. He just tries to think about her. Eyes, hair, skin, scars, lips, legs, taste... He can separate the person from the feelings, mostly, when he tries hard enough. And when it doesn't work (sometimes it doesn't) he stops thinking altogether and just takes her in his arms and makes love to her until they're both too exhausted to move. Or think.

He decides he loves that feeling too, but maybe not as much as he loves her. But, after all, he shouldn't be doing this in the first place, so he tries not to care.
