Disclamer: I do not own any characters from the OC.

Summary: Ryan and Marissa find each other after a few months...

Ryan sat in the dark shadowed bar right outside his former town. He was back; back to see one and only person, the one he had lost just a few months before.

After going back to Chino he realized the baby wasn't his and he wanted out, out right away. After traveling for what seemed to be days (but was only a few hours) he stopped here. He knew he wasn't ready to go see Marissa, the one he had let go. Ryan sat on a bar stool holding his beer in his hands. The door opened and in walked a familiar girl with brownish blonde hair only one girl he knew he had that color hair... Marissa! It was her. Ryan could not believe it. Not knowing what to do he quickly looked away. He was scared. As much as he wanted her back he knew he couldn't let her see him like this; badly needing a shave and haircut, eyes tired, clothes dirty.

Marissa walked in the dirty bar. She didn't know where it was, and didn't care. It was just another bar to her, just another place to buy a drink. Ever since Ryan went back to Chino and broken things off with her she'd basically given up on life. Her parents and her friends tried to reach her, but it was no use. There was only one person who could reach her and that was Ryan. For months she spent asking herself what she did wrong, why oh why did he leave her? She would have gone with him to Chino, she would have helped him and Teresa raise there baby. Marissa hated her life now that he was gone so she had spent the past few months drinking her life away. So when she stumbled into this bar she didn't expect anything different. She knew guys would hit on her, buy her a few drinks and expect to get laid. But she wouldn't sleep with any guys, she wouldn't at all. The only guy she wanted was Ryan, and until then...

Marissa looked up suddenly seeing a familiar figure. Even with his head turned she could still see who it was. Could it be? Yes it was, it was Ryan. The reason she had been drinking was sitting in front of her. Thinking a million thoughts at once Marissa realized that she couldn't let him see her like this.

Ryan was still holding his beer not even drinking it. He couldn't drink it. Since the moment Marissa walked into the door his whole body seemed to clench up and he couldn't function properly. Ryan knew Marissa had seen him already, he knew what he needed to do. Taking a deep breath he turned around and looked straight into Marissa's eyes. The connection had been made and he had no idea what to expect when she spoke.

To be continued next chapter coming soon, please be nice this was my first fanfic ever. I am sorry if it sucked.
