Always Me

Sitting by the lake, her feet dropped like heavy weights into the unseen depths below. She sat on the wooden dock leaning back on her arms and her legs over the side. She bent her head up, suddenly blinded by the bright rays of the sun. Her face was scrunched up as if in deep thought, her lips pursed and eyes shut tight. Swirling her feet around she dragged them across the surface of the water. With a final swish of her right leg, her eyes popped open and a warm giggle escaped her now grinning mouth.
"Is that you Draco?" she called, the hope evident in her voice
She felt heat rising in the pit of her stomach, the caterpillars now fully grown butterflies. She had known he'd come.
He quietly walked over to where she sat and gracefully sat down behind her, allowing her to fall back between his legs, having her lean against his chest. His arms wrapped lovingly around her and he nuzzled the side of her long and pale neck with his face.
"It will always be me" he murmured into her ear, holding her closely, and kissed his favorite freckle on the spot that was neither neck nor chest.
"I love you" she whispered, reaching out with her arm pulling him closer.
"And I love you" he repeated.
Finally allowing himself to succumb to her ruby red lips, he kissed her.
The kiss was long and drugging. Dragging on for minutes, hours, months, and years.
