Starfire's P.O.V
I saw Robin standing on the rooftop gazing down at the city. I wanted desperately for him to see me but I stayed hidden in the shadows. Robin's capr blew out around his lean figure and his eyes held no feeling in them. His mask always had him holding his emotions in. I wanted to feel my arms around him and his around me. I wanted to know every tiny secret about him. I wanted so much and I will never have it. Because I have not yet told Robin that I am in love with him. I am in love with the amazing Boy Wonder.
Robin's P.O.V
I look out onto the city that I keep my eyes on. Slade is out there and when I find him I'm gonna kill him. He took my happiness away from the very beginning. Slade the killer, Slade my father. Why, why does he have to be my dad? I am out to kill someone related to me, yet I feel no remorse or guilt. My thoughts are taken by this one man. Get out of my head! Until he is dead I shall never be free from the nightmares.
Starfire's P.O.V
I see Robin rocking slightly and I know that he thinking about something very ill. I can read Robin's moods and they are not all the time happy. I do not want to have him so sad and angry all the time. Slade is always on his mind. I know that he wants to kill him and that Slade has some connection to Robin. I can see it in their eyes and especially in Slade's. It makes me very afraid.
Robin's P.O.V
I know that Slade will want to lure me to him. I do not want to see my friends getting hurt. Especially Starfire. She is strong but she gets frightened easily when her life or a friend is in danger. I still beat myself up after the times I was controlled by Slade and I hurt her. She was the only one who has ever reached me like this before. She is always there whenever I need her. I love the way she looks and acts. And whenever she is sad it's like the whole world comes crashing down around her. She never notices any of the bad stuff. She never notices how Cyborg chokes on her food, Raven ignores her, or Beast Boy plugs his ears when she starts to sing. She is always there for them too. And they treat her so well, like she's a special doll. They sand up and protect her and she's gorgeous. I'm in love with a Princess from a different planet.
Starfire's P.O.V
All of a sudden, Robin seemed to realize something and started to cheer up. I smiled glad to see that he was feeling better. Robin started to do this funny little dance and I let a giggle slip, giving myself away. Robin stopped mid-jump and peered into the shadows.
Robin's P.O.V
There was Star sitting Indian style and watching me intently. A blush slowly started to work it's way up into her cheeks and she got up and said in a clear voice...
Starfire's P.O.V
I love you Robin. You are my best friend and yet I love you more. I walked forward and planted myself in front of him.
Robin's P.O.V
My heart just soared to Jupiter and back. She loves me! And I took her into my arms and stared down at the lovely alien princess and said, Star I love you too. And I kissed her.
Starfire's P.O.V
A dozen rockets zoomed up to my head and burst into stars. Robin loved and I him! I was glad that Robin was happy again and I was in pure bliss. I laid my head on Robin's chest and smiled at the adventure we were going to begin.
