She sits there lonely, longing for someone. To long has it been. Loneliness has been her only companion for so long. The woods around her are silent, the moon shining through the trees illuminating her small clearing. It is the only source of light, for she has no fire going. The moonlight makes her pale skin glow. Her eyes sparkle in the moon's gift of light like sparkling sapphires under a mass of black hair. Tears run down her refined cheeks. "ALEXIS! Alexis, Why have you left me?" She calls out to the wild night. Her only reply is her own echo. She grudgingly opens her pack and pulls out a blanket. She curls up on a rock and tries in vain to sleep. Slowly but surely, sleep over takes her for a final time, tears drying on her cooling cheeks....
