"Inu-yasha!" cried Kagome, "help!" "Iron Reaper!" screamed Inu-yasha, as Kagome jumped out of the way of an anger crazed Koga. "This wasn't like him" she thought, "sure he tried to win me over every time we met" but this time was different he had hurt her and quite badly, and with Inu-yasha as a full human now that the sun set, this was very bad. Suddenly she blacked out.

Inu-yasha struck Koga and hit his mark, but Koga was too quick and had already stuck his hand and arm through Inu-yasha's stomach.

"Damn" thought Inu yasha, as he was hunched over in pain, clutching the gaping hole in his gut. Then he looked at her lifeless form and rushed over. She so was near death that her pulse was almost completely undetectable. Inu yasha had no choice but to run for Kagome's sake. But then all of a sudden Koga struck him from behind knocking him out cold. So Koga scooped up Kagome and got his wolves to drag along Inu-yasha so he could see him grovel for his life.

Once him and his wolves, with Kagome and Inu yasha, reached their den, he told the just awakened and bound Inu yasha that "if I can't have Kagome no one can, and

s-she doesn't want me, only you" Koga whispered in a quivering voice. "So she will die" Koga said so calmly and plainly it sacred Inu-yasha.

"No" shouted Inu yasha struggling fiercely at his binds. "Take me, kill me just don't hurt Kagome".

"But don't you understand that's what will hurt her, even more than dying", Koga laughed menacingly.

"Then kill yourself!" spat Inu-yasha. "That should make up for nearly killing her"

"How do you know that I didn't kill her?" Koga asked cunningly.

"I can hear her heart and lungs moving, and you would be dead" stated Inu-yasha, twitching his ears slightly.

"Ha" Koga laughed, "you kill me, you're just a stupid human!"

"Not any more" said to Inu-yasha just as the sun rose.

Then there was a great battle, of Koga and Inu-yasha. During the fight Inu-yasha yelled at Koga "I love Kagome, and you will never have her!", and with that Inu-yasha used the Tetsusaigas strongest attack, the Bakuryuha. This combines the Wind Scar and the enemies attack to make an ultra-devastating technique. And decinagrated Koga.

"Ha" Inu yasha yelled, "why would she want you over me, the one who watches over her all day and night or the one who hurts her... and he stuttered the last words of his sentence and the one who really loves her!" Inu-yasha said to Koga's ashes. With this Kagome awoke because of Inu yasha's unselfish and loving act, to protect her. She touched her face and felt blood, then looked at her wrists they had gashes in them. So she tied a handkerchief to each of them. Then she looked around and cried out urgently "Inu-yasha, Inu-yasha where are you?" she cried. Inu-yasha's ears twitched, and he ran to find Kagome.

Down one hallway up another he was getting nowhere fast, "Kagome where are you!" he screamed urgently.

"Over here, over here Inu-yasha" she called in return.

Inu-yasha sliced open the door, Kagome was tied up to chains in the wall. Which he quickly broke through, and carried Kagome at a running speed back to the village where he got Lady Kaeda to heal her.

"With a few days rest she should be fine" said Lady Kaeda, "but she beaten up pretty badly".

Inu-yasha went into the tent quietly, and sat down beside Kagome. I wish I could hold her, this is all my fault if I hadn't gone and teased Koga this never would have happened.

"I love you Inu-yasha" Kagome whispered quietly "with all my heart"

Inu-yasha's jaw dropped. Then as a thank you he gave her a kiss on the lips and speed off.
