Tsunade stared at her paperwork, worried about the 5-man team that went after Sasuke. Why couldn't she wait until someone else came back from one of their missions? Why did she have to send five innocent children out of Konoha territory to save one boy? Why couldn't she just let him go to Orochimaru?
Because Orochimaru would destroy Konoha. That's why. That's why she had to try and stop Sasuke with those five innocent boys. Shikamaru. Neji. Chouji. Kiba. And that boy Naruto. The one who's going to become the next Hokage.
And Lee-kun. He ran off. He heard the five boys leaving. He saw them with his own eyes. So he must've gone ahead to try and help them. And he forgot his medicine. He took the sake instead. Only Lee himself knows what happened to him.
Let's just hope that Gaara and his sbilings can help them. But what if they can't? And will Kakashi be able to help?par par It's all her fault for letting them go. It's all her fault if one of them dies.
No. She shouldn't blame this on herself. It's all Orochimaru's fault. It's his fault for giving Sasuke the cursed seal, and his fault for confusing Sasuke into leaving Konoha.
Tsunade put her hands in a praying position and placed her head on top of her hands. Please let them all live.
The doors opened. Tsunade looked up. It was Shizune.
"Tsunade-sama, Kakashi and the others have returned..."
"Did everyone live?" Tsunade asked.par par "Everyone... but..."
"But who?"
"Chouji."
Shizune looked down at the ground. "I'll give you a few moments, Tsunade-sama..."
Shizune closed the doors of the Hokage's office. Tsunade plopped her head on the desk and weeped.
