"Just checking." Luke tossed another cup into the black garbage bag Joan was holding. "There is no appropriate segue but- Are you and Adam a couple now?"
"No! There is no coupling going on." Annoyed, she shook the bag. "Come on, we have to get this cleaned up before Kevin gets home."
"The second law of thermodynamics states that energy, once transferred, always causes changes. There was a serious energy transfer out there on the sidewalk."

"I was looking out the front window. It wasn't spying!"
