Quistis letter to Squall
I thought that love was supposed to feel incredible
Make your heart beat fast
Make you glow all over with radiance
That's how I used to feel about you
Every time you were around me
I would feel higher than a kite
But slowly that feeling faded
When I realised that all I was to you
Was just a bit more than nothing
Slightly higher than an insect
But lower than your line of sight
Now I see you everyday with her
Smiling and laughing
I could never make you smile
God knows I tried but you didn't even give me a second glance
Was I not pretty enough?
Too bookish or too tough for you
I guess I just wasn't good enough for you
Or maybe too good
Whatever the case I'm moving on
She can have you because now I don't give a damn
I'll find someone who deserves me
Because quite frankly Squall
You never deserved me you arrogant prick!
Quistis finished the poem and placed her pen down on her desk. She smirked at the last line. She stapled it to her letter of resignation and resumed packing her bags. Tomorrow she left for Deling City.
