Willow was never needed when they had research to do anymore; in the past few years, they had all figured out how to do that. No, Willow was only ever useful when they needed magick.

The magick they had once mocked her for using, standing in the background and waiting for her to fail again. But when she finally mastered her gift, they lined up to ask her to use it. She didn't mind being used that way. In some weird way, it made her comfortable.

At least they still knew she was there. At least her friends still cared.
