Title: Addict
Genre: Harry Potter
Pairing: SiriusxRemus
Summary: Sirius is an addict...
------- --------- ----------- ----------- ----------- ------------
Sirius knows he's an addict. He even looked the word up when James called him it, just to make sure it appled wholely.
(To devote oneself to a habit)
If watching Remus, watching him constantly from where ever he's at, isn't considered devoting oneself, he has other examples.
He's become an Animagus for him.
If thats not devotion, he doesn't know what is. Remus is his world, and if nothing else, he wants to be there for him, to protect him forever and a day.
(sometimes a bad one)
It could be considered bad, this addiction. Sirius hasn't a clue as to how something so good could seem like a bad thing, but it could be. Remus causes his palms to sweat, his knees to shake, his wordstoruntogether, and his stomach to turn with a dozen and two butterflys, one butterfly for each year he's known him, and five for the years to come.
Of course, this is on a good day.
Seriously, Sirius was seriously in love. Puns aside, he's never been so serious in his entire life. Remus makes living worthwhile; it's like living in a romance novel.
Remus once said he trys to get Sirius to abstain loving him. Sirius, never the scholar, went to look it up.
(Abstain: To refrian; keep away.)
Sirius doesn't know how he could abstain himself. Remus draws him to him; like a moth to flame, like James to Lily...like James to Quidditch, even.
Remus is beautiful; not like a girl, Merlin, no. He's got the masculinity of a butch woman at time, Sirius chuckles as he thinks, but he is not girly. He has the beauty of the moon in his eyes, and Sirius loves it.
He's addicted.
