Harry is stuck at the Dursley household yet again after a rather eventful 5th year at Hogwarts. Remembering what had happened last gave him an involuntary shudder; he had nearly led five of his best friends: Hermione Granger, Ronald and Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood, to their deaths in an infamous battle with Death Eaters, and had lost the closest thing to his father, his godfather Sirius Black. He was near insane struggling with the Dursleys, loss of his godfather and almost his friends, and some newfound feelings for Hermione.
A week later, he receives a strange message while making breakfast. He noticed that a black raven delivered the letter, which read, "We have her". He owled Dumbledore, and much to his surprise, received a summons from Dumbledore. It read "Dear Harry, I have a pressing matter of which I would like to talk to you about. It is about Hermione..." he paused, wondering what it meant. 'We have her', his thoughts reverted to the earlier message. Could this be about Hermione? No, Harry, just stop worrying, everything's fine... He read on, "Harry, this parchment is a portkey. To activate it, hold it out in front of you and say, 'Lemon Drop'. I have dispatched Remus for your belongings."
Anxious to see what this could be about, Harry held the parchment, and said "Lemon Drop". He first saw the parchment flash, felt the now familiar pull at his navel, and disappeared.
