THE POWER OF A WISH
Chapter 1
*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*+~*
Yugi felt protected, something he hasn't felt in a long time. He rested his head on his look-alike's shoulder and let his eyes drift shut. The teen let the spicy smell, emitting from the warm body consumed his senses. He was about to fall asleep when his defences kicked in ...
Yugi couldn't do this ... not again. Now he felt safe, but he knew these feelings were wrong. Very wrong. Just an illusion ...
The youth pulled away from the other alarmed. He stumbled backwards until he was a few feet away. The other teen didn't hold him back and looked at Yugi confused, worried and ... hurt?
Yugi could feel the adrenalin pulsing through his veins. Even if there wasn't danger, he felt as if he should expect one. Great, now he was getting paranoid.
They kept looking at each other, amethyst meeting crimson. Yugi took advantage of the silence to examine the teen in front of him carefully.
He was a head taller teen he was. Yugi frowned. This was a normal thing. Why was he just so damn short? Anyway, back to the task at hand. He has the same hairstyle as Yugi, save more blond bangs in his hair. His face was sharper and looked older then Yugi's. The stranger's eyes were crimson in colour and Yugi felt as if they could look in one's soul. The young man wore clothes similar to Yugi's. What the heck ... he wore the same outfit. Black leather pants and a dark blue sleeveless shirt with golden buckles on it. Yugi noted that it could be probably the same size too, since Yugi liked his clothes buggy and the stranger's ones clung to his body. He shivered at his thoughts.
'Not bad ...' Yugi muttered.
"Hikari?" the man asked Yugi. Yugi cursed mentally. The stranger caught him starring. 'Change the topic quickly!' a voice in his mind shouted.
"Who are you?" he asked the taller youth and immediately smacked himself, much to the other's confusion. 'A very smart question, Yugi. Go on like this. He already knows you're stupid ...'
"I'm Yami, hikari. What is your name?" Yami answered.
"Yugi Mutou... and why do you keep calling me hikari?" the oblivious younger asked, tilting his head to the side. *He's cute* Yami noticed and smiled at his hikari.
"Because that's what you are. You are my hikari as I am you yami. I'm a part of you" The darkness answered, not being able to come up with a better explanation. He didn't know himself ... The addressed surprisingly seemed to be content with the answer and not confused at all even if this wasn't a daily thing. You're not meeting a hot guy, looking like you every day. He continued the question-answer-play.
"Why are you here?"
"I was looking for you. It was my job to find and protect my hikari ... and suddenly there was a bright light and then I found myself here with you" Yami told the hikari, shrugging.
The smaller answered with a 'hmm', thinking about the Yu-Gi-Oh! show. But he thought it was better not to bring it up. What was he supposed to tell this 'Yami'. Well, I already saw you. You are an Anime character. This will so work out. Not.
"Do you remember anything else? I mean who told you to protect the light or who or better WHAT are you? And why do you think I'M YOUR HIKARI" Yugi pointed up, really curious and waiting for an answer.
And waited. And waited. And waited. Yugi was getting impatient. "I can't remember" Yami said at least. Yugi sweatdropped in anime style. "And to your last answer. Haven't you noticed the similarities between us? How could you NOT be my hikari". Yami 1, Yugi 0, the hikari counted in his mind.
"Well, it probably has something to do with the golden puzzle." Yugi remarked.
"Why do you think that?"
"Because I just finished it when you showed up and you have the same golden artefact" he pointed at the other's puzzle around Yami's neck.
"I remember that it is important, but I don't know why ..." Yami told the smaller teen sadly, playing with the puzzle unconsciously. Yugi noticed the sadness in his voice and immediately felt bad for him. It must be horrible to not remember your past. Ignoring the little voice in his head, telling him to be more careful around the stranger, he wanted to cheer the other up.
"Well, you can stay with my grandfather and me. I'm sure he won't mind. We don't have much room; but-"he was cut off when Yami hugged him fiercely. Heat was creeping up Yugi's face. He wasn't expecting such a gesture, not that he really minded.
He abstinently heard Yami saying something about the lines 'Thank you. Thank you. My sweet hikari' He wasn't sure if he heard the last part or if it was his imagination. This Yami couldn't be that bad ...
Then he remembered something. He was going to meet his friends today. How was he going to explain Yami to them?! And to his grandfather!!! He promised Yami that he could stay with them.
Yugi stiffened and Yami, being the caring person he was, pulled back and asked what was wrong.
"Nothing. Everything is ok. Do you want to come with me? I want you to meet my friends" Yugi blurted out.
"I'd love to" Yami purred and smiled at the younger version of himself, oblivious of the blush on the younger's face.

Yami: SHORT and boring, boring, boring, ... and not to mention stupid
Yugi: You know Sansi, this time I have to agree with him.
Sansi: I know (sighs). That was the most stupid chapter I have ever written! .
I'll make it up in the next chapter!!!!
Meeting Yugi's friends!!!!
ANYWAY, PLEASE R&R AS ALWAYS!!!!!!! I'll send you all a cool Yami-image in his pharaoh clothes!!! (the one from 'What I want the most')
I need help!!! First of all I wasn't able to come up with a title for this chapter. Then I need help with the summary. A reviewer was nice enough to tell me, that it isn't that good. Suggestions? Any ideas what they could do in the next chapter? I have an idea, but probably you can help nevertheless?
Moumoukech: Thank you so much for this nice review. I'm happy you liked it, but I'm not that good! I think your English is much better. Actually it's great! (English is my 2nd language) Here is the update. Hope you enjoy it!
Flowers: Thanks! Here is the update
Dagger5: I know what you mean. I haven't received author alerts in the last week .. And since Wednesday I received 40 e-mails for one update! So I had to delete some authors or my mailbox would have exploded. Well, I hoper ff.net will correct this soon ...
jkateel: Thanks for your review! Now you have to update your fics soon too! ^_^
Elsalhir Erestar: Thank you very much! I really want this fic to be original. I know I make a mess with the tenses, but my beta is very busy at the moment. I hope I'll get better though! .
Koishii No Tenshi: Thanks! I'll do my best!
Spiritual Winds: Glad you liked it! Was this fast enough ...
Silentia: Hi! Also bis bald. Ja ne!
