Floating Around.
By Blade Lord Lyn
My first new story in. . . months. I'm going to try to use C2 as an excuse to constantly come to , and continue to write. . . I want to write a Seima No Kouseki fic, but I'm not sure that not a lot of people have played it yet. . . so. . .
Here I go.

Prolouge: The beginning of. . . who knows what
------
"How much, again?" Sain asked, kneeling behind Merlinus' Tent.
It was late at night, about 11:00 PM. Everyone was asleep, tired after the day's long battle.
But not Sain.
Mark had decided not to take the Social Knight along with group to battle, instead, of all people, he took LOWEN.
"It's 1000 Gold per Secret Book. Or did you already forget?" Merlinus chuckled, rubbing a chubby hand through his mustache. He was sure not to make his prices to high, Sain was his best customer after all.
"All right, here it is." Sain said, grabbing a sack that rested on his hip, and handed it over to the merchant.
"Thank you! Enjoy yourself!" Merlinus said, quickly hiding the sack in his cloak.
Merlinus turned away from Sain, opening up his tent and stepping inside. Sain paid no attention to his antics, standing up, and stepping outside of the shadows, looking left and right.
'Good. . . no one is around. . . .' he thought, walking briskly towards his tent.
'Now, if I timed this right, Kent shouldn't be here. . . .' Sain thought, peeking into his tent.
As he expected, it was empty. He quickly sat down on his cot, and opened the Secret Book.
"Finally, the next issue!" he said, excited. He flipped through the pages, eyes widening as a grin appeared on his visage.
"The art certainly has imporved. . . ." he mumbled, now meticously scanning every single page.
"Florina!" he heard from outside.
"What a melodious voice. . . with a touch of lust. . . for money. . . it's the lovely Farina!"
Throwing his newest Secret Book behind him, he stood up, brushing himself off. He walked out, posing casually in front of the tent.
"O beauteous Pegasus Rider. . . might you want to spend some time with me?" Sain asked, bowing curteously.
A short trikle of sweat fell down the side of his face as Farina walked by him.
"Hmm. . . maybe she is busy." Sain thought aloud, standing with a small frown. He stepped back into his tent, letting sleep overtake him.
The next day. . . .
Scowling, Sain rode in front of his partner, Kent, Marcus leading their three person group.
"Keep up the pace! I thought Wallace trained you for things like this!" Marcus said, increasing his stride.
"You know. . . I don't think we're going to do anything today, either, Sir Marcus." Sain said, annoyed. He slowed down slightly, motioning for Kent to follow suit.
"What is it Sain? We're going to fall behind at this rate." Kent said, frowning.
"Let's ditch Eliwood's ne'er-do-wells, no-good, nobodies, prodigal, stiff, underachievers, and find some real action." Sain replied.
"Are you joking? What about Lady Lyndis?" Kent asked, stiffening.
"She'll be fine! It's not like we'll be gone forever! It'll be fun, and relaxing! Call it the vacation that Lady Lyndis owes us for helping her last year!"
Kent's frown seemed to magnify itself as he turned away from his companion.
"Fine. We'll leave for a week." Kent said.
"That's a good chap!" Sain said. He motioned his horse to turn away from the group, and began to ride away.
