Even though her heritage was mixed, she had not experienced much prejudice. She was blessed to grow up in an accepting neighborhood who didn't judge her for the color of her skin.
But now, now she knew what it felt like. She understood what it meant to be prejudiced against for something you can't control. She felt what the gargoyles must have felt every time people screamed when they were being rescued.
Humans are animals!
What a stench. It must be coming from that human!
As she sat in her jail cell, she looked out the window and wept uncontrollably.
