Inuyasha was in his homeroom, talking to his friend, Miroku. "Anyways, what do you think about, Sango? Thats some fine piece of work right there, huh? I..." But Inuyasha stopped listening when she walked in the room. She was his best friend since diapers. Kagome Higurashi. But latley he was feeling a bigger attraction toward her. That smile. That hair. That beauty. Once he saw her she was never off his mind.

He always sat beside her at lunch. But he never told her. Inside he was to afraid she would reject him. That she thinks of him as just a friend. Then he would go into a very sad depression. Oh yeah, he already mapped it out.

He tried to tell her before but she always had to go somewhere. Life is unfair. Things always came up with him to. But he knew what he had to say. Heck, he practiced in front of a mirror.Like that would help. He even said it in front of a picture of kagome. That didn't help either. He had to say it to her: face to face.

That day, he had asked her id he could come over to her house to help him with his algebra. She said yes and told him he could come over at about 4:00. When he did, they went up to her room laughing about how kikyo slipped and fell in th cafeteria today. When they got done with almost the whole worksheet, Inuyasha cleared his throat. "Um Kagome. There is something i have to tell you." He took a deep breath."I have a kind of...well i... what i'm trying to say is...i kind of have a crush on you."
What would she say
I wonder would she just turn away
Or would she promise me
That she's here to stay
It hurts me to wait
I keep asking myself
'please don't reject me' But she started laughing. 'Oh great, she finds it funny. His ears drooped and when she saw it she stopped. "Sorry" he said. He walked to the door, feeling as if the world just weighed alot more. Then he felt a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have laughed. It's just i was about to say the same thing when you said it. I like you too." Inuyasha was more then happy now.

He then took that moment and turned around and kissed her. They spent a good 2 minutes in that postion. When they broke apart, they both smiled. "So do you want to go get some ice cream? My treat." She grabbed his hand. "Sure" On the way there he told her everything. How long he had kept this, what he liked about her, everything. Inuyasha paused. "wow that was long. I should have my own show!" Inuyasha remarked with a laugh. Kaogome wise-cracked back. "But who would make a T.V. show about a hanyou?" Inuyasha could only smirk.
