Prologue
Ginny was trying to set Hermione up on yet another blind date. She was getting aggravated as she argued with her friend. Hermione was Ginny's friend, but sometimes she wondered how they remained friend. Hermione met Ginny in her fourth year at Hogwarts and had been friends ever since. Hermione lived in a flat in downtown London by herself while Ginny was always coming over. Ginny had just graduated that summer and was planning her wedding to Harry Potter as well as trying to get Hermione hooked up with someone so she could have a double wedding.
Hermione was twenty-two now and worked at the Ministry of Magic as assistant to the Minister. And the Minister was none other then Percy Weasley. Percy had become Minister after Fudge had been killed in a freak broom accident. She had straight shoulder length brown hair and eyes. Very kind and loving person, funny when she wanted to be, but of all things she was a know-it-all bookworm.
"No, I want to stay home for once." Hermione replied while she opened her book. "You have had me out almost every single night for the past two weeks. And none of them have worked out."
"Please." Ginny pleaded and started to pout. "I promise that you'll like this one. He is just like you."
"No, no, no, no. A thousand times no. Now go tell the prospect that I said no." Hermione replied while she started to read the book that was in front of her as Ginny walked out with a mischievous grin that she did not see.
Percy was pacing up and down in front of his fireplace waiting to hear from Ginny. She had agreed to set Hermione up on a blind date since he was too scared to ask her. He thought that since she worked for him that she would automatically say no. He was getting anxious and a little scared. What if she said no without even knowing that it was him. This question was making him very nervous. When he heard his name being called. He turned around to see Ginny's head in the fireplace.
"What did she say?" Percy walked over to the fireplace as he asked this. "Did she say yes?"
"She said yes." Ginny replied trying not to smile to hard and not to start laughing. "She said to be at her place at seven. Make sure to apparate to her front door, not into the middle of her living room." With that Ginny's head disappeared.
Ginny walked back into the kitchen and towards the door when she stopped to look over at Hermione.
"What did they say?" Hermione asked not looking up from her book.
"They didn't say anything, but he was very hurt. I could tell." Ginny replied trying not to smile. "I have to go. See you later. Oh and have fun tonight." With that Ginny turned around and was gone with a small 'pop'.
"What do you mean have fun tonight?" Hermione dropped her book while she asked this, but she was too late. "I wonder what the bloody hell she has planned tonight." She thought as she looked at her watch. It said that it was six thirty. She walked into her bedroom and changed into a tank top and shorts. Walked back out to the living room and sat done to read her book.
She had just finished her book when she heard a knock on the door. She looked down at her watch. It read seven o'clock. "I wonder who would want to see me at this time." She thought as she walked to the door. She opened it up and was shocked to see a red haired, red faced Percy Weasley standing at her door.
