-Rin Confesses-

D.I.S.C.L.A.I.M.E.R.: First off, this was one of my first fanfictions, and looking at it I think I've gotten a lot better since this particular one. Well I hope I've gotten better anyway. P Enjoy! Oh Yeah, I don't own InuYasha. HA!

It had been a few years since Sesshomaru had first found Rin and Rin had grown into a beautiful young woman. She now looked at Sesshomaru in a different way, she loved him.

'I must tell him, He needs to at least know how I feel for him' Rin's thoughts wandered to the tall silver-haired demon and she stood up and started towards him. Sesshomaru looked down as Rin approached him

"Yes, Rin?" He asked, looking into her eyes.

"Lord Sesshomaru I can't hide anymore, I'm not a little girl...and I...love you." Sesshomaru quickly looked away.

"You're a human." Rin followed his gaze and glared at him, she had confessed her love and she was still just a human to him.

"Is that all I am to you! Just a worthless human!" Rin spat out at him, tears welling down her face, the words feeling bitter in her mouth. Sesshomaru avoided her face, wanting to tell her the truth, that he needed her, but he couldn't, Rin was just a human...it didn't work that way.

Rin wanted to hurt him, hurt him the way he had just hurt her, but instead she came closer to him. She couldn't believe how brave she was being, her face was inches away from his.

"If that is all I am to you, tell me you hate me and never want to see me again." Rin managed, her voice noticeably shaky. Sesshomaru looked into her eyes and seemed to lose all his strength.

"I...I can't..." He said looking down, showing emotion. Rin's voice shook,

"Sesshomaru-sama, I love you. If you can never love me, I'm leaving. I will always love you, but if I am just a pathetic human in your eyes then I could never stay with you, knowing you can never love me as I love you." Rin then backed away from Sesshomaru and started running. She just had to get away.

Sesshomaru stared after her, knowing he'd made a huge mistake.

'If only you were a dem...' Sesshomaru stopped himself, Rin wasn't like that. She would never be a demon and he didn't want her to. He just wanted her to be his Rin, the one he had grown to love.

"Screw it." He said under his breath and ran after Rin. Rin stopped in a forest and immediately started crying.

"He never loved me...I was nothing to him..." she sobbed into her hands.

"Your wrong." Rin heard a deep voice behind her and turned around to see her beloved Sesshomaru behind her. Sesshomaru grabbed Rin and pulled her into a hug.

"I...love you too Rin and I always have. You must promise not to do that to me ever again...I can't go on without you." Rin smiled and looked up into his eyes.

"I promise." Rin laughed as she saw the demon smile for the first time.
