Prologue- Shinji, Asuka, Toji, and Rei are just arriving at the Tokyo 3 airport. That mourning Masato had announced that America had just finished building the third EVA in the mass production project, unit 07. The pilot was arriving today and commander Hikari had sent the four children as a welcoming party.
DEFAULT CHAPTER, "The Arrival Of Another Soul"
"I wonder what this new pilot is like," Shinji thought said to no one in particular. Asuka smiled arrogantly, "This new pilot just happens to be my Cousin, dunkof." Shinji looked down for a second, "what's his name?"
"Glenn..." her voice trailed off, what was his last name, again? "His name is Glenn, o.k." "Glenn doesn't sound like a German name to me." Toji stated. "That's because it isn't, moron, he changed his name when he went to college." Shinji looked up, "college, does that mean he's also a child prodigy?" "Well, he does have my blood in him, doesn't he?" Asuka laughed cockily. "he graduated when he was ten and then spent three years in training." Shinji looked around for anyone that resembled Asuka, "I thought his plane arrived at two, it's already a quarter after." Toji plopped down next to Rei, "I still don't know how this guy's gonna help us, one pilot can't make a difference." Rei spoke up in her usual emotionless tone, "We're not fighting angels anymore, and reports state that this pilot is an expert at hand-to-hand combat, which is the most effective way of fighting the dummy EVAs." "Well he's late," Toji responded, "what does he look like anyway?" Asuka dropped to her knees and began rummaging through a bag she had brought. "I've never met in person but I have a picture in here somewhere, here it is!" She passed the picture to Toji who frowned, "just great, a rocker." Toji passed the picture back to Asuka, who stared at it, trying to capture and remember every detail. "Hey, Asuka, I want to see it to." Shinji said. Asuka looked at him and smiled, "He's tall, skinny, pale complexion, blue hair that goes down to his shoulders, and the blackest eyes imaginable." Asuka slipped the picture back into her bag and sat back. "I hope he's cleaned up like he promised." "cleaned up?" Shinji sat up and looked at her, "what do you mean?" "He was almost kicked out of school a couple of times because of drinking and drug problems." She sighed, "He has depression and he used to resort to anything, just to be happy." "But I heard he's past all that now, although he still screws around too much" Suddenly loud rock music started blaring on the intercom system. A few seconds later all four children looked up to see Asuka's cousin running toward them. He was wearing a long black trench coat and dark sunglasses and had a large duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Before Asuka could say hello he grabber her arm and began leading her outside. "no time to explain, let's get out of hear before security spots me." Asuka scowled but ran alongside him with Rei, Shinji, and Toji following close behind. Glenn smiled menacingly, "nice to see you again, Asuka."
