This is in Colette's POV, when she's about to go to the Tower of Salvation.

Disclaimer: I do not own Tales of Symphonia (Namco does).

Is this what it means, to become an angel?

I ask myself this question over and over again. Is it necessary to lose so much, just to become an angel? I shake my head.

What am I thinking? This is for Sylvarant...everyone's counting on me!

So, what about Tethe'alla?

I can ask Lord Remiel about that. I let out a silent sigh, having lost my ability to speak.

Is it my fate to become an angel? Am I supposed to leave my senses, my friends, my family, my...life?

Is it? I close my eyes, trying to get rid of those questions inside my head. I have to go to the Tower of Salvation, to fulfill my duties as the Chosen.

Then what about Lloyd?

I can't ignore that voice any longer. Could it be right?

What do you think? Of course I'm right!

I shake my head again, not sure what to think. Instead, I concentrate on the Tower of Salvation before me. It's beautiful...

"Colette?" I turn, and see Lloyd behind me. "Are you ready?" I nod.

Voice or not...I have to go to the Tower of Salvation.

"Well, who's going to ride on which dragon?" Lloyd asked.

Lloyd's going to be mad when he finds out what you're going to do to become an angel...

I ignore the voice. Everyone's counting on me...without really thinking, I climb onto the dragon that Kratos was on, and we flew towards the Tower of Salvation.

When we reached the stairs of the tower, Kratos urged me forward.

"Let us hurry, Chosen." I stand there, not sure if I should go or not.

Lloyd'll at least want to see you become an angel...

I hesitated as Kratos waited for me to go in. After a glance at the approaching dragons, I walked inside. Lloyd shouldn't have to see this.

Inside, I saw all the coffins floating around. They seemed to call to me...it made me shiver. I stepped into the warp as quick as I could.

At the seal, I kneeled down, and started to pray. Lord Remiel appeared...my death approaches...

This is what it means to become an angel...
