I hope you guys like it...I forgot I wrote it and just found a few stories in my computer...so if figured why not post them?
It had been a long week for the Las Vegas night shift
Sara had been off sick and everyone had been working over time
"I hate bad people" Catherine whined
"What?" Warrick sighed
"Well, all the criminals decided to kill each other the week Sara is sick- how unlucky can you be?" she said picking up a magazine and flipping through it
"She's looking better" Nick said from the coffee machine
"I hope she's not sick on your anniversary" Catherine said taking a cup from him
"I've got her stuffed with drugs so she should be okay soon" Nick said
"Okay everyone, I've got some news" Grissom said rushing into the room
"You're late" Catherine smirked
"So?" Grissom said raising an eyebrow
"What have you got for us?" Warrick said rolling his eyes at them
"I called in some help- just until Sara gets back" Grissom said
"What?" Nick said sharply
"We need help- all of you know that" Grissom said
He was greeted by silence
"I called in an old friend, she's very good- very good at profiling" he said
"Okay then, when's she coming in?" Catherine said standing up
"She's in my office now" Grissom said and walked out of the room.
"What's going on with him?" Warrick said
"I dunno" Nick replied
"Do you think he's still hung up on Sara?" Warrick said looking over to see Catherine's seat vacated
"I don't think so" Nick replied, staring at the door............
How was it? I know it was short...but Monday is a public holiday so I should be able to write more then....
