All For Her

Moonlight breaks against her
The buzzard with butterfly wings
She's bold by night
Like a fever dream
Her dress torn
Teeth broken
She's shattered and sharp
A girl who angels laugh at
With a bloodthirsty echo
Her dull eyes fixed
Upon what she will never have
When she cries
Her tears are like mud
Tinged with a deadly red
She smells of reality
Decayed
Her misery creates fear in onlookers
Because they know
That the world is all for her
But with day she's forgotten
Rendered intangible
In a burst of blood

Notes: reveiws make me happy. This poem is slightly inspired by the lyrics to the German version of "On My Own" ("Nur Für Mich" - All for me), and mostly inspired by the wonderfull writing of Victor Hugo. Please read chapter 2 as well!
