A/N DISCLAIMER... Pity I don't own it.... Ok, Kenshin's POV on a cold, rainy day during the time he was known as Hitokiri Battousai in the Tokugawa era, in the Meiji revolution....
Himura Kenshin, formerly known as Hitokiri Battousai the most feared swordsman in Japan at that time opened the shouji of his room and slid it shut. He then scanned the place for any sign of humans, hoping that none of them would ask him to do them favours. Seeing that nobody was in sight, he heaved a small, silent sigh in relief.
He then trotted along not caring about where he was heading to, for his mind was full of nothing else but passive thoughts. It was no surprise for he was a young, miserable lad who had chosen the path to protect, but at the same time felt guilty for shedding blood from men who had fought for the beliefs. To him, nobody was evil except for the thoughts the important people of the country had.
Tears from heaven fell and that was when he came to a halt in his steps and looked up into the dull, cloudy sky with his emotionless, golden eyes. A placid look was replaced with the emotionless one as he stared at the most breathtaking scenary ever....
BATTOUSAI/KENSHIN POV
The feeling of the rainy wind
Makes me feel at peace
I feel free of my sins
No longer seized
The beautiful evening sky
Changing colour every now and then
As I look up from where I lie
On the damp grass by the riverbend
Inhaling the faint scent of pinewood
Making me feel free once more;
Though I wish I could
Be free like before
Though its only a moment of silence
It will remain in my memory forever
In my life full of violence
But this will never be forgotten, ever
The trees swaying along
And the breeze growing stronger
As mother nature sings this song
Will the feeling of peace stay around any longer?
A/N hope that you all loved it!!
Ja ne!!
The evil witch
