Shikamaru laid down on his usual bench, staring away at the clouds. He enjoyed staring at the clouds so much that sometimes he got lost in thought as he stared up at the sky. It was his place to just think about life, and watching each cloud go by along with life itself.
Chouji, Ino, and Asuma stood waiting for Shikamaru so they could begin that day's mission.
"I'm getting hungry. Why don't we go eat first?" Chouji asked as he munched on some chips.
Asuma stared at his wallet. "I think we should wait for Shikamaru, first, Chouji." Asuma told him. "I need to do a mission or two because I'm flat broke." He thought.
Ino leaned back against the wall. "I need some money for new clothes. That lazy ass better hurry up."
Asuma stared at the door, waiting for it to open up any second now. "Shikamaru should've been Kakashi's student. They're both late, anyway."
They waited for another fifteen minutes ten got fed up.
"I'm tired of waiting!" Ino yelled. "We've been waiting all day for that lazy ass to come and he still hasn't come!"
"And I'm going to go eat first!" Chouji announced.
Asuma sighed. "I'll go and help you look, Ino."
Chouji went to go find a place to eat while Ino and Asuma went in search of Shikamaru. They reached his bench and found that he had fallen asleep.
Ino got severely angry. "SHIKAMARU YOU DUMBASS!" She hit him hard in the head to wake him up.
Shikamaru rubbed his head. "Geez Ino. Easy on those punches. I'm your teammate after all."
"Let's go get Chouji then start a mission." Asuma suggested.
So the three of them went to find Chouji, and found him at the ramen place, where he ate 6 bowls of the most expensive ramen on the menu. He was searching through all his pockets and in his wallets.
"Aw man! I can't find my money!" Chouji looked up and Asuma. "Asuma-sensei..."
Asuma sighed. "Why me?"
