Story 1: Skipping Stones
Hakudoushi/Shiori
The pale silver-purple haired teenager sighed. "Hakudoushi do this. Hakudoushi do that. For god's sake he needs some respect." He muttered.
He skipped the small white pepple across the silvery lakes water impatiently. "Naraku makes me and Kagura do everything!"
As he skipped another rock another reflection appeared in the surface of the lake. Hakudoushi jumped visibly and he turned to face the new-comer.
"What do YOU want?" He asked harshly, eyes narrowed.
The tan girl winced a little. "Sorry." She replied softly. "I was...just watching."
He shrugged haughtily. "I don't care. You just startled me."
"Oh..." she started, lowering her purple eyes. Her hair was white, her skin was tanned and she had a soft girlish voice.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Shiori." She replied.
"Hakudoushi." He replied flatly, skipping another rock.
"Oh...uhm...can you...teach me how to skip rocks like that? Mine always sink." She mumbled shyly.
Hakudoushi looked at her questioningly before sighing. "Okay, come here." He demanded.
She walked over and stood beside him.
"Stand sideways like I'm standing." He told her, taking her arms and making her turn in the direction he wanted her to.
"Okay..."
"Pick up a rock."
She picked up a small bright red pepple.
"Throw it, but not completely straight, sideways a little." He tried to explain, it wasn't exactly easy.
She did so and it bounced off the surface threew times before plunging to the bottom.
She turned and looked at him, face shining with pride. "I did it!"
He nodded, smirking. "You did didn't you?"
She threw her arms around him. "Thanks Hakudoushi." She mumbled pulling back.
And Hakudoushi forgot about how annoying Naraku was just knowing he had made someone else happy.
