Runaways
Chapter One
Deep in the Village Hidden in the Light....
"MAKI-CHAN!" The said ninja turned to see a tall, blonde, female ninja running in her direction. She waved.
" Ohio Alyaia-chan." she greeted her friend. This was their usual routine as they met in front of the manga store. Alyaia leaned against the wall as they waited for their third team member to arrive. A few minutes later he trotted up. The boy was about a centimeter taller than Alyaia with short black hair. He always smiled and had fox-like eyes. The two female ninjas constantly teased him that he looked like Yakumo from 3X3 Eyes.
The three team mates began their walk toward the training grounds. Soon enough they arrived at Training Ground 47, The Serpent's Forest. The three shinobi effortlessly leapt along the giant intertwining trunks of which the forest was named after. The Serpent's Forest was a dangerous place where only the most skilled dare to travel through, let alone train in.
The shinobi landed with complete unity in a clearing. On the other side, near the shadows, a figure leaned against a tree. The three team members whipped out kunai, shuriken, and knives. They spread out in the Alpha Attack Form B. The mysterious figure lit a cigaret.
"The B-forms weakness is in the obviousness of the attacking person." The three relaxed at the sound of their instructor's voice. Their sensei took a drag of his cigaret and stepped out of the shadows, decompressing his chakra. Knowing that noone could mimic their sensei and feeling the all too familiar chakra, they each put their weapons back in their holsters. " Your last day as my students." The jounin blew two smoke rings.
"Hai, Hadaka-sensei." Shinuko, the younger male greated him.
"Our last minutes as a 'class'" commented Maki as she surveyed the setting with quiet eyes.
"Now we have to call you Hadaka-sempai." Alyaia giggled.
"Alyaia-kun, always the jokester. How I will miss you and Maki-san and Shinuko-kun."
"How many times must I ask you Hadaka-san to drop the 'san'?"
"I have to show respect to the Karuikage's daughter. The "heiress to the throne'." Maki gave a loud 'humph' and crossed her arms over her chest. Hadaka took out a watch. "It's nearly time to go. Come we have to get you three to the main hall to get into your brand new uniforms."
Outside the building the three students gave their old sensei and new semapi a final good bye and walked through the doors. Hadaka looked in after his three former students and smiled.
"See you Alyaia-kun, Shinuko-kun. Good luck Maki-kun."
