My friends and I were sitting in a clearing in the woods and we were just sitting and talking. There were three of us, me (missy), Sarah Webb, and Mei Ling. We were just talking about the normal 14 year old girl stuff like school and well, guys and, our classes and well, guys and oh yeah we were talking about the guys that we liked. Anyways that's when we saw these three really beautiful owls fly over us and well I know that we're in the woods and all but we don't usually see owls here even if it is night time. But then we all felt something fall into our laps. I was the first to pick the item up.

When I picked it up it was on envelope but it was heavier than a normal letter. But then I looked at the address....

And well... I have to admit I was kinda freaked out! I mean this couldn't be a practical joke from one of my or our stupid guy friends because well, the only other people who knew we were here were our parents and they would've just called me on my cell phone or something. So then we all looked around to I guess we were checking to see if there was anyone around who could've done this but there was no one. I was the first one to speak up and open the letter. "Okay guys since obviously there is no one around who could've done this we will just have to open the letter to see what it's about. And since well, I can see that u guys are kinda a little scared I will open mine first just, if anything was to happens... call Paul and tell him what happened. Okay?" Both Sarah and Mei nodded. (A/N: by the way Paul's kind of an inside joke so unless you're a friend you won't really understand why it's funny and also it's a long story so you probably won't unless I put the story on fictionpress and just remember if you do read it if I do post it that in the story all of the people are real) So I opened the letter and it was kind of rough like it was not a regular piece of paper and it was defiantly heavier. But I started to read anyways.

Ms. Missy DeWitt,

I know this may come as a shock to you, you have been accepted to the school of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Now you will need to come to a place called 'the burrow' and you will need to be here to learn everything there is to know before you start the new school year. Your parents have already been informed and all of your belongings have been taken care of so if you have any questions please feel free to ask when you arrive. Now if you will please touch these letters again at precisely 1:00pm you will be transported here.

As when I finished reading the letter out loud to me friends it was 12:58 only two more minutes to go until we had to touch the letters again and we would be whisked off to 'the burrow' whatever that was. So after we talked about it we decided that we better go so we touched the paper again and I started thinking about how much more summer we had left and also all the guys I would be missing. Oh well.
