Manny's POV

I continued to stare intently at the clock. It read 9:40. Class would be over in about 10 minutes. I wasn't really paying attention to what Mrs. Kwan had to say. It was as if her lips were moving but absolutely nothing was coming out of her mouth. The words were all a blur. Occasionally I'd see JT make quick glances at me every now and then. I was quite flattered about this.

To me, JT is a good friend, a very good friend. He was the one of the few people that didn't think I was a slut last year. He'd always be so nice and sweet when I was feeling bad. JT even invited me over to watch one of his silly little commercials. I could tell that he wanted to be more than just friends. But I just couldn't see that happening.

One part of me wanted to try dating him but the other part didn't. Deep down inside the core of my heart, I still have feelings for Craig. No matter what happened in the past, I still know that I like him for some odd reason. I don't know why, that's just how it was.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. I promptly laid my eyes on the clock that read 9:50.

"Okay class now I want you to read those chapters," replied the teacher. I soon realized that I hadn't been paying attention to a word Mrs. Kwan was saying. I didn't even know what chapter to read. The closest person to ask was Liberty.

"Uhh, do you know what chapter we are supposed to read?" I asked as I got a hold of Liberty's arm just as she began to walk out of the door. Liberty looked at me for a second not saying anything. She couldn't possibly be still worked up over JT. Didn't she have a boyfriend? Twister, Towers, or whatever his name was.

"Yea, it's chapter 5," Liberty replied with a hasty look. She always wanted to be the first person to enter class. I then nodded with a thank you while Liberty quickly brushed past me.

"Next stop, film," I said talking to myself.

"Hey, Manny how's it going?" I turned around to see JT standing right behind me. As usual his eyes would light up like the sun every time he'd talk to me. I couldn't help but to smile myself.

"Hey JT, I'm just walking to class," I replied as I continued to walk beside him.

"Cool, mind if I walk with you?" JT's hands were in his pocket as he said this. He was wearing the usual Khaki shorts with a white tee and a blue T-shirt over it. I on the other hand, had on normal jeans and a pink shirt that read "Babygirl" on the front. I decided to tone my image down a bit this year, since my reputation was outrageous from the year before.

In response, I shrugged and smiled showing my straight white teeth. JT gave me a smile in return as we walked on to our destination.

Jimmy's POV

I frantically rushed to my locker. There was only 3 minutes left to get to class. If I got any more tardies I'd have to be in Saturday morning detention which was a bitch. My locker was just a few steps away. Surprisingly, someone jumped right in front of me

"Hey Jimmy!" shouted Hazel as she wrapped her arms around me. I gently pushed her arms off of me. I didn't have time for this.

"Hey, Hazel," I huffed as I walked up to my locker turning the combination. Hazel quickly walked right up to me and stood just inches from my face. I could feel her smiling and staring at me while I was opening my locker. I hated when people just stared at me like that. It made me nervous. I don't know it's a phobia that I have. I didn't want to let her know that she was making me nervous so I continued to turn the locker combination. Luckily I had opened his locker without a problem.

All of a sudden, two blue teddy bears fell out of his locker. There is also a collage of Hazel and I pasted all over his locker. My eyes go wide. What the hell was this?

"I thought I'd make a little something for you! Isn't it cute?"

I gulped. More like psychotic! I then tried to bring a smile to my face. I didn't know exactly what to say. I knew if I had tried to say something it would come out wrong.

"So what do you think?" I could feel Hazel waiting in anticipation for an answer. I knew I'd have to say something fast. Off in the distance I heard the warning bell ring. Saved by the bell!

"I think it's uhh great...listen I have to get to class I'll talk to you later," I exclaimed as I hastily stuffed the teddy bears in and closed his locker. I wanted to get away from her fast. I almost felt as if he were being tortured.

"I'll see you at lunch!" shouted Hazel from across the hallway. I could hear her voice only faintly. I didn't even want to see her at lunch! I felt like she was an annoying bug; a bug that would just buzz around your ear all day. No matter what you did, that bug would always be there.

"I have to break up with her," I said talking to myself as I rushed on to class. I didn't know when or how, I just knew it absolutely had to be done.
