Chapter 5: Who's next?
Yugi ran inside the hospital when he almost bumped into Anzu who was coming outside the room of Jou.
"Oh, Yugi! I was about to search for you." Anzu said.
"Anzu! Are you ok?" Yugi said in a rush.
Anzu looked confused at him. "Well, yeah, I'm ok... Why do you ask?"
Yugi gave a sigh of relieve. "Oh, uhmmm... Nothing Anzu." Yugi quickly changed the subject. "So, How's Jounoochi now?"
"He's fine... He's just saying: 'I've could have take those guys, but my hand was lightly bruised.'"
Yugi laughed. "Sounds like the old Jou! Well, I'm going back inside again. Are you coming?"
"Yeah I'll be there in a sec. I'm going to get some fresh air." Anzu said.
Yugi nodded. "Ok, but be carefull ok?"
Anzu looked strangely at Yugi. "Ok Yugi." Yugi went inside and Anzu made her way outside.
~~~ Outside ~~~
'Why is Yugi acting so strange all of the sudden? He was acting strange when he came back in... What changed his mind? Could it be those guys that attacked Jou? It was freaky..... And they were French.... And so is Francios....' Anzu began to blush at the thought of Francios. But her thoughts were broken when her mobile began to make noise. She picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Ah, my beautiful Anzu." The voice said. Anzu recognized the voice.
"Hey, Francios! What's up?"
"Nothink much... I was wondering where you are."
"I'm at the hospital.... Jou had a accident. He was beaten up by three guys."
"Oh, no! How is Jou now? Ish he ok?"
"Yeah, he's ok now...."
"Do you know who done it?" Francios asked.
"Well, we know that there were 3 of them... And, no offence, but we think it were French guys."
"How do you think so?"
"Well, Jou said they had a funny accent. And it sounded like French. But we don't know anything for sure..."
"Shall I come to you? To the hospital?"
Anzu thought about it for a minute. "Yeah, I'll be outside when you arrive."
"Ok, bye Mon Cherie."
"Bye." Anzu said and hang up. 'Maybe if Francios get's here, I get some distraction...' She thought and waited outside.
~~~ In the hospital ~~~
"You sure you ok, Jou?" Yugi asked.
"I'm fine Yug, really! Dose guys were just lucky."
"Yes, and the next time you see them, you're going to beat them up, right Jou?" Ryou said.
"Of course! They should be afraid of me time!" Jou said.
Then, the door slammed open.
"Honda!" Yugi said. Honda was dressed in his motor cycle outfit.
"I came as quick as I can!" Honda said.
"Chill, Honda." Jou said. "There's nothing wrong!"
"Next time this happens, call me! You should have you know!"
Jou sweatdropped. "How could I if it happened so fast!"
"Well, next time just call me...." Honda said and grabbed a chair.
Yugi looked at the door. 'I wonder where Anzu is....' Just then, the door went open.
"Hey, guys I'm back. Hey Honda! Since when did you came here?" Anzu asked as she saw Honda sitting on is chair.
"Hi, Anzu. I came here just a minute ago."
"Hello, my friends!" A voice came from behind Anzu. Then, Francios came from behind Anzu.
"Oh, yeah! Francios called me, and I told him what happened. So then he came here."
"Yes, I heard the news." Francios said as he walked over to Jou. "How are you doing?"
"Oh, I'm doing fine, Francios! Danks for askin'." Jou said, giving a smile.
Yugi felt a little jealousy coming up. 'What's he doing here? He doesn't even know Jou more than we do! And, how did he knew Anzu's phone number?' He thought.
"I'm glad you doing well, Jou." Francios said while standing next to Anzu, putting and arm around her shoulder. Anzu flushed.
More jealousy came in Yugi's mind. 'What the... What's he doing? How dare he put a arm around Anzu!'
Hikari, take it easy. Yami spoke in his mind.
(How can I? He's touching Anzu! I can't stand it anymore!) Yugi said in anger.
So why don't you tell Anzu the truth? Remember, you already want to tell how you feel about her.
(Yeah... But I'm afraid of... You know!)
Should I take over then? Yami asked.
Yugi thought for a bit. (Yeah, you can take over...) The millenium puzzle gave a quick flash, and there stood Yami.
Francios saw that Yugi had changed. "Anzu, somethings different with Yugi" He whispered to Anzu.
"Yugi?" Anzu whispered back and recognized it was Yami. But she couldn't tell Francios. "I don't see any difference." Anzu lied.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Excuse me, but visitors hours are over. I have to ask you to leave so that the patient can take a rest." The nurse said as she walked in.
"Ah, dat's too bad ya guys." Jou said.
"Yeah, but we will be back tomorrow!" Ryou said.
"Until then, take care." Honda said. "And don't eat all the hospital food! I want some too tomorrow!"
"Yeah, yeah Honda..." Jou said in a bored tone.
"See you tomorrow Jou." Anzu said and gave him a hug.
"Yes, take care Jounoochi." Francios said.
"Danks Francios and Anzu."
"You must take your rest. We'll all be back tomorrow." Yami said.
"I will Yugi."
"Bye Jou!" They all said as they waved him goodbye.

"I'm glad Jou's ok." Anzu said.

"I think we never know..." Honda said.
'Or maybe we do...' Yami thought.
"Well, I must be going. I'll see you tomorrow guys!" Honda said and hopped on his motorcicle.
"I should be too." Ryou said.
"Ok, see you tomorrow you guys!" Anzu said as she watched the two go. The only one who were left were Yami, Anzu and Francios.
"Should I take you home, Anzu?" Yami asked.
Anzu smiled. "Yeah, thanks Yami."
"Well, I see you tomorrow then, my beautiful Anzu?" Francios said.
"Yes." Anzu said softly. Then, Francios bowed to Anzu and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
Now, Yami felt a bit of jealousy. 'He.. kissed Anzu? How dare he kiss Anzu!' Yami thought, but then it dawned to him what he said. 'What? Am I jealous? No, it couldn't be.... She just a friend! And nothing more, right.' Yami's thoughts were soon interrupted as Anzu said goodbye to Francios.
"Until tomorrow Mon Cherie!"
