Chapter 6: Little By Little
The next day was a cloudy and gray day. Well, it was a school day actually. Jou was still in the hospital, so he couldn't join the gang today. Yugi and Anzu were walking together to school.
"Do you think it's gonna to rain today, Anzu?" Yugi asked, looking at the sky.
"Well, there's a good chance, Yugi." Anzu replied. When they arrived at school, the playground was empty.
"Where is everybody?" Anzu asked.
"I...don't know..." Yugi said, looking around. Suddenly, a girl came out of the school running towards Yugi and Anzu.
"Anzu! I'm glad you're here!" The girl aid in a rush.
"What's the matter Saskia? Did something happened?" Anzu asked.
"You need to come into the school, quick!" And with that, Saskia ran inside the school, leaving Yugi and Anzu confused behind.
"Should.... We go inside then?" Yugi asked and Anzu nodded. They both walked inside. When they opened the door, big balloons came down and there were red roses on the ground. When Anzu made a step foreward, a red carpet rolled down the stairs and stopped right infront of her. Then, she saw Francios standing on the stairs and walked down with a rose in his hand. (A.N: How does he do that??) Francios stod right infront of Anzu and gave her the rose. She became to blush.
"My beautiful, beautiful Anzu. Every time I see you, you become even prettier than yesterday or the day before." With this, Anzu went redder and redder. He gently grabbed her hand, and sank on his knees. Anzu flushed.
'What's he doing? It loks like he's gonna ask me to marry him...' Thinking of that, Anzu blushed even more. But on the other hand, Yugi's jealousy came up again.
'What's he doing? He can't make Anzu blush like that!' Yugi thought as he looked at the two.
"My beautiful Anzu... I would like to ask if you..." You could hear the other girls whispering.
"What's he gonna ask?"
"Is he gonna marry him?"
Francios finished his sentice. "Would like to go out with me?" Yugi went furious this time.
'What?? What's he asking? Well, I know Anzu, and she will say no!'
"Yes, I want to go out with you." Anzu answered happy. Everyone began to clap.
'What???' Yugi thought. 'She... Said yes?? B-But that isn't the Anzu I know! The real Anzu would never date a guy who she knows in such a short time! Who is she?'

( How can I calm down if Anzu's going out with this guy? ) Yugi answered to Yami.
Maybe this guy isn't so bad as you think, Yugi.

"I'm sorry, mon cherie. I've got to go to class. But I see you in lunch, oui?" Francios said.
"Yeah..." Anzu said dreamily. "See you at lunch Francios..." Francios gave a quick kiss on the cheek, and ran off. Then, Yugi came infront of her.
"Well, we should also go to class Anzu." Yugi said, but Anzu was somewere else with her thoughts.
"Anzu?" Yugi said waving a hand before her face. "Anzu, class is about to start! We've got to hurry!"
"Yeah, class..." Suddenly, hearing the word 'class', Anzu snapped out of her daydream. "Oh! Yugi! We're late for class! We've gpt to go!" Anzu said and ran of to class. Yugi followed behind her.
'I don't like this.... I don't like this at all....'
~~~ At Lunch ~~~
Anzu, Yugi and Ryou were walking together to the cafeteria.
"So that's the answer, Anzu." Ryou said.
"Wow, that sound so easy."
"Yes, it is. Once you know how it works."
"Now I undertand too, Ryou! Thanks" Yugi said.
Ryou smiled. "You're welcome."
"Hey, Guys!" Someone said behind them.
"Hey Honda! Jou!" Yugi said.
"Man, I'm starvin'!" Jou said.
"Yeah! Let's go quick to the cafeteria!" Honda said and he and Jou went ahead of the group.
"They just can't live without food..." Anzu said.
"Yes, it seems to be.." Ryou said, but then he came with something interesting.
"Oh, Anzu? Maybe it's rude to ask but are you and Francios.. Dating?"
Anzu flushed. "Oh... well... To tell you the truth, I'm going on a date with him."
"Ahhhh." Ryou smiled. "I heard someone say that it looked like it was valentines day! I heard your name, and I thought it would be with Francios."
Yugi, again, felt uncomfartble. He didn't like the idea of Anzu going out with Francios.
Behind them, there was a shadow, who had his lock on the group.
"I know who my next victim is..." Then, it dissapeared again.
When they got in the cafeteria, Jou raised his hand to know where he and Honda were sitting. The three walked over to them.
"Is Francios not here yet?" Anzu asked, looking around.
"Didn't see him yet." Honda said.
'And let's keep it that way...' Yugi thought. Just then, Francios ran towards the group.
"Francios!" Anzu smiled happily.
"Hello, Anzu!" Francios said and gave a kiss on her cheek. Then, they both sat down. They were talking what happened in their classes. Just then, the bell rang, and everyone went to their classes. But, those lessons went by quickly.
The group stand outside, saying goodbye to each other.
"Well, see you tomorrow guys!" Ryou said.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow Ryou!" The group said and Ryou left.
Ryou walked his way home, when suddenly, he was pushed into a alley.
"Dis isch the next, right?" The guys asked the other.
"Yes, iet isch him." The other said and they came closer to Ryou.
"W-What do you want?"
"We've got orders from our boss." The third one said.
"Yes, we've got to... eliminate you!" The guys said, but suddenly, a bright light came from under Ryou's shirt.
"Nobody eliminates me... I eliminate them!" The guy said who looked like Ryou. but yet different.
"Hey, dis guy changed!" One guy said.
"That's right.. I'm not the wimp you attacked... My names Bakura."
"Oe... Now we should be scared..."
Bakura gave a sharp laugh. "Hahaha! Yes, you should be.... Certainly when you are forever in the Shadow Realm!"
"A Shadow Realm? I dink you watched too much tv, kid!"
"No tv... It's reality..." With that, his millenium Ring began too shine, and when the bright light was gone, the men were laying on the ground.... Unconsious.
"Mortals... So weak... And I share a body with one..."
