Chapter 8: Anzu's confusion
"Guys, I've gotta go... I have a lot of stuff to do." Honda told his friends.
"Ahhh... Can't you stay a little longer, Honda?" Anzu asked in a sweet tone.
"No can do, Anzu."
"Well, we see you tomorrow then, Honda!" Yugi said.
"Yeah, and stay away from ma sista!" Jou said while showing his fist. Honda sweatdopped and puts is helmet on.
"-_- Cut it out Jou..." Anzu said.
"Well... See you tomorrow guys!" Honda said and drove away on his motorcicle.
"Bye Honda!" Anzu and Yugi said and waved at him.
"I'm going too, ya guys. You know what Mr. Peterson gave us for tomorrow..." Jou said and gave a sigh.
"Yeah, you're right Jou.... Mr. Peterson is such an annoying person!" Anzu said.
"Let's walk together, guys." Yugi said.
"Yeah, ok!" Jou and Anzu said and walked home.
~~~Honda's POV~~~
When I get home, I just have to get to my homework... Or else... Well.. I don't don't what else.... But I know it isn't good!
Then, something stood on the street. I couldn't see who it was. Well, whoever it is, it didn't move away. I stopped in front off him.
"Hey, what are you think you're doing?" I asked the person.
"Are yous Honda?" The guy said in a funny accent.
"What? Yes I'm Honda... What do you want?" I asked him. He didn't answer me. Instead, he was smirking and snapped his fingers suddenly. Then, 3 guys stood besides me. They pulled me from my bike.

"Hey, let me go!" Honda said to the three man who held him.
"You wants to know why we are here?"
"Uhmm... Yes!" Honda said.
"Fine... We were sent here... We have to take you, and your little friends down.."
"You... You were those guys who attacked Jou!"
The man smirked. "Yes... Yes we were..." Then, everything went black before Honda's eyes.
~~~ At Anzu's house ~~~
Anzu sat by her desk, trying to make homework. But she just couldn't concetrate. She had one thought.
'Why do I have to think about Yami and Francios. Yami just gave me a peck on the cheek, and Francios... He's so romantic... He always does those sweet things... Like giving me a rose... But Yami... He's so mysterious... I don't know... I like it... I like him, but.. Am I in love with him?'
Just then, the doorbell rang. Anzu snapped out of her thought and ran to the door. She opened the door and there stood Francios with a rose in his hand.
"Francios!" Anzu said a little surprised. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, I was in the neighborhood so I thought to go see my beautiful Anzu." Francios said and handed the rose to her. He wanded to gave her a kiss on the cheek, but she jerked her head away.
"Uhmm... Come on in." Anzu said and let him inside. "Would you like something to drink? Tea, or something?"
"Yes, I like that." Francios said while sitting on the sofa. After a little while, Anzu came back with the tea. She came sitting right next to him.
"We had a lot of fun yesterday oui?" Francios said while putting an arm around her shoulder.
Anzu blushed. " Yes... We had. I had a great time. The food was great also!"
"Of course! Iet ish the best French restaurant of Domino City! And iet is the best for you..."
"Oh! Francios! That's so-" But Anzu was cutt of by the phone. Anzu stood up, and answered it. ( A.N: Well... Duh!)
"Anzu Mazaki.... Hi, Yugi!..... Honda?..... What!?... Hospital!?... Y-yes, I'll be there right away!" Anzu said and stood up.
"What is it? What's wrong?" Francios asked in fake concern.
"I-It's Honda! He's in the hospital. We've gotta go there!" Anzu said.
"Yes, I'll drive us!" Francios said and he and Anzu got into his car. (A.N: Yes he has a car! :P )
~~ At the hospital ~~
Yugi and Jou where in Honda's room. Suddenly, the door went open.
"Guys, I came as soon as I can!" Anzu said as she ran inside.
"Anzu!" Yugi and Jou said. Then, they heard another voice.
"Anzu, don't walk so fast! I can't walk as fast as you can!" Francios said as he also came inside. A little out of breath.
Yugi saw him, and felt again jealousy. But, so did Yami inside the millenium puzzle. He didn't liked it. Every time Anzu was somewhere, Francios was there too.
But, Anzu ignored him and focused her eyes on Honda.
"W-what happened?" Anzu said quietly. She came beside Honda's bed.
"He... He was found on the street... He's probably attacked..." Jou said, looking at Honda.
"Just like with you? Those guys with a funny accent?"
Jou nodded. "Yes, probably." It was silent for a while.
"And.. How is he doing now?" Anzu said, broking the silence.
"Well... Ta doc said that he has a concussion. We don't know when he wake up..."
"Oh... Honda..." Anzu said while holding Honda's hand with tears in her eyes. Suddenly, someone was holding her other hand.
"Don't worry, Anzu... Everything's gonna be alright." A genly voice said to her.
Anzu whiped her tears away. "Thanks Yugi..." Anzu said and Yugi smiled a little smile.
Suddenly, a beeper went off. Everyone looked at Francios. Francios grabbed his beeper and looked at it. Suddenly his face went serious.
"What is it, Francios?" Anzu asked.
"Someone needs me at... uh.. Work. I've gotta go. Sorry Anzu."
"That's ok. If someone needs you, you've gotta help them!" Anzu said and gave a smile.
Francios smiled also. "And that's what I also like about you.." He gave a slight kiss on her cheek. "See you tomorrow, oui?"
"Yes, see you tomorrow." Anzu said and Francios said goodbye to the others and left.
'Well, glad he's gone...' Yugi thought. Then, a knock came on the door. A nurse came in.
"I'm sorry... But visitors hours are over. I ask you kindly to leave." (A.N: Always those visitors hours...)
"Yeah... I guess we should..." Jou said looking at Honda.
"But we come back tomorrow, yes?" Anzu asked.
"Of course Anzu!" Jou said and they all walked outside.
"Well, guys... I'll be going home now! I'll see ya all tomorrow!" Jou said and Anzu and Yugi said goodbye.
"Uhmm... Anzu?" Yugi said.
"Mhh? Yes, Yugi?" Anzu said, looking down.
"Can I walk you home?"
"Yeah, sure Yugi." Anzu said and they began walking home.
"Now Honda is the second one, Yugi... (A.N: They still don't know about Ryou....) First Jou... And now him..."
"I know Anzu.... Who would do that to us?"
"I don't know... I don't want anyone to hurt anymore... Not you, or Jou or anyone else who is special to me..."
Yugi just nodded. He didn't knew what to say. He would love to say that he will do anything for her to protect her, but what if she's get suspicious?
"Yugi... I'm scared... I don't know what to do anymore.." Anzu said and looked down. Suddenly, a flash of light came from Yugi's side.
"I can assure you, nothing is going to happen anymore.... To no one, and neither to you." A older, mature voice said.
Anzu looked next to her, and she saw Yami. She gave a light gasp. She wasn't expecting him.
"Thanks, Yami..." Anzu said as they came at her house. "Well," She said, standing infront of her house. "We're here. Thanks for walking me."
Yami made a smile. "No, problem. Now remember: Don't worry. Nothings going to happen to all of us. I promise you that..."
Anzu also made a smile. "Thank you..." Then, she opened her door, and stepped inside. When she closed the door, Yami also started to leave. He only said one thing:
"I will do everything for you..."
