They stared coolly at each other, the wind was blowing in Raziel's face. Kain's eyes held anger while Raziel's held fear. Raziel had made a fatal transgression, he had evolved before Kain had. Kain would have him excecuted, had all his fighting been for naught? All his time as Kain's right hand been for nothing?
Cool breeze and autumn leaves

A lone pair of watchful eyes

"Throw him in the dungeons. I will talk with him later." Kain ordered. Raziel spent days in that horrid cell watching humans. He had no word or sign of Kain for days, he was waiting in fear. That wasn't right he shouldn't fear his lover, he felt Kain's prescence.

Raziel grabbed Kain in a hug and kissed Kain forcefully and bit his lip. This would be the last taste of his blood that he would have for a long time. He kissed him gently and said "Goodbye my love." And took off from the keep.

He flew higher and higher and aimed for the blood red sun. The celestial orb was setting, he needed to find somewhere to stay, anywhere except for Nosgoth. There, he saw an island. It would take a few hours flight though.

He couldn't hold it in any longer. He let out an anguished cry, once he started he couldn't stop screaming. After his throat was raw he had to stop. The first and strongest of his cries was the only one that reached Kain's ears. Kain cringed and closed his eyes, he knew the pain his lover was feeling. The moon was rising into a crimson sky.

The stars were coming out and the moon was an ethereal orb. It's silvery luminescence was was brilliantly lighting the ocean. Raziel, however didn't notice any of this, he felt only pain.

He saw an island and started to dive, he saw a cave but it didn't suit him. He flew towards an island that was another few hours away. He flew higher up into the clouds. His wings were caressed by the evanescent clouds. Higher he went and let his crimson tears fall into the water below him. He flew across the moon's brilliance, and his lover saw that he was safe as he watched him flit through the night. Razile finally found an island that suited him and glided down to it. It was a barren rock but it had humans. He didn't particularly care about his surroundings right now anyway. It was away fro Nosgoth, that was all that mattered.
