Background: We're going to be in our own little world were all the warriors are alive (good and bad), the gods have been summoned, but nobody has gone home. So in other words I'm just ignoring all the parts that don't fit with my story. Hope you don't mind, and if you do, too bad. Enjoy!

Also this is my second story. It is going to be a little different than my previous one. I'm going to make it a little less serious, but I hope you still like it.

The Emperor Hotohori looked down at the divine message that he had received that morning sent from none other than the god Susaku.

"The presence of the seven Susaku celestial warriors and their priestess is requested by his almighty heavenliness at the palace gates at dawn tomorrow morning. Transportation will be provided to the location of the test. There you shall all be tested, and possibly rewarded a great prize if you show worthiness."

"Hm...better go inform the others though I don't know how some will like such an early hour." Hotohori stepped out into the courtyard, and gazed out at the many places people had spread out to.

Miaka and Tamahome cuddled underneath a tree on the other side.

Tasuki furiously practiced his fighting against an unresponsive practice dummy that for some reason seemed to infuriate him even more.

Chichiri sat gazing thoughtfully, but broke his train thought to occasionally answer some question of Chiriko's.

Mitsukake worked on the cool green grass, refilling his supplies of herbs and plants for healing.

Nuriko idled by the pool, lazily twirling his hand in the water.

Hotohori politely cleared his throat calling the others to attention, well at least enough to get those that didn't hear to look up. He continued to read the news to them all, and waited for their reactions.

"I don't see why not," Miaka said standing up. She paused thinking for a moment, "Do you think the prize could be food?" Her eyes grew wide at the thought, and she began to drool.

"Um...sorry, Miaka. I don't think that's a very likely prize," Tamahome replied setting his hand on her shoulder.

"Well, it's not like we're doing anything much anytime soon. We might as well," Nuriko said strolling over from where he had been sitting before. He glanced around the courtyard to see nods of agreement.

"Okay, as you all wish. Please be packed and ready tomorrow morning at dawn," Hotohori smiled, and headed back to his office.

"Dawn!" Tasuki groaned, and punched the dummy as hard as he could. All he succeeded in doing was scratching his knuckles. "Shit!" he hissed, shaking his hand.

"Well, that's what you get for being such a dumb ass," Tamahome said in a mockingly haughty voice as he strutted by.

"I'm so going to kick that sissy ass of yours!" Tasuki screamed, launching himself at Tamahome.

"All right, knock it off!" Nuriko stepped in, and pulled Tasuki back. He shoved him in the direction of the palace, and pointed ahead. "Go start packing now. We're not going to wait tomorrow morning for you to find all your stuff."

"You have no room to talk with your fifty bags! You're such a girl!" Tasuki growled as he stalked off.

"Oh! Thank you, that's the nicest thing you've said today," Nuriko blushed waving a hand back at him.

They all went off to get ready for the next day, and wonder what exactly awaited them in the coming day.
