A hard storm blew in feudal Japan. Inuyasha and his group walked through the storm. The rain felt like needles and the wind was strong enough to knock you over. Inuyasha walked in the front, holding his arm in front of his face to block the rain. Kagome walked with an umbrella and raincoat. Shippou was behind her, holding tightly onto Kagome's raincoat. In the back were Sango and Miroku. They each tipped their hats forward to avoid the rain from stinging their eyes. Kirara walked next to Shippou, holding onto his vest with her mouth.
"Maybe we should stop, Inuyasha." Kagome suggested.
"Feh, no way wench!" he yelled. Kagome glared at him.
"Inuyasha...SIT!!!" The dog demon's face went crashing into the mud. He got up and growled.
"What was that for?!"
"You should care about the others, we can't endure as much as you."
Sango and Miroku just stood there and watched, Sango shifted her gaze to the river flowing next to them. It had a strong current to do the storm. Kohaku, I'll get you back, Sango thought. Miroku turned to look at her.
"Is something wrong, Sango?" he asked. Sango let go of her train of thoughts to look at him.
"No, I'm just thinking," she replied. They both then looked back at Inuyasha and Kagome. They were still arguing.
"You're so dense!" Kagome yelled.
"I am not!" he yelled back. "You're just..." he stopped and looked up. "Get down, now!" he shouted. Inuyasha ducked and so did Kagome.
A huge gust of wind blew. Kagome grabbed onto Inuyasha's shirt and Shippou, who was holding onto Kirara. Miroku ducked fast enough, but not Sango. She managed to stick her hairikoutsu in the ground but didn't get to duck.
A grunt came from her as she got knocked over and began to tumble towards the river. Miroku held out his hand.
"Sango!" he cried. Sango kept getting blown away. She then fell into the river. She struggled to stay above the surface with the strong current. Kagome, Inuyasha, and Shippou watched from where they were, shocked. Shippou held Kirara down so she wouldn't go after her owner. Miroku ran and jumped into the river.
"Miroku! Are you insane?!" Inuyasha yelled. The gust of wind stopped.
Miroku arrived upon the surface. He looked around.
"Sango! Sango!"
