"B-B-Boyfriend" James stuttered feeling sick.
"Um Steve could I talk to you for a sec?" Lily asked politely
"Sure," Steve answered looking back at the group and giving them a 'Lily's mine so back off' look he followed her to the kitchen where she quickly shut the door and rounded on him. He had never seen her so mad.
"So," she asked angrily "YOU'RE MY BOYFRIEND?"
"Well I am aren't I I mean our parents keep on telling us we should date and well I kind of like you."
"Well I don't like you and I don't care what my parents say I will never date you," and with that lily stormed out of the kitchen.
'You will be mine lily just you wait' Steve thought and then went home to come up with a plan to win over Lily's heart.
"Come on James you know you like her," Sirius said teasingly.
"So what if I do it doesn't matter you heard that Steve guy he's her BOYFRIEND," James replied bitterly "I bet they're shagging each other as we speak gosh Lily is acting like such a...."
"JAMES POTTER I thought you knew me better than that."
James spun around to face a very heartbroken Lily
"Lily I..." James tried to explain.
"No I don't want to hear it I came here to explain that Steve isn't my boyfriend but instead I found out how my supposed best friend really feels about me." with that said she fled to her room where she collapsed onto the bed sobs wracking her body. I can't believe him lily thought Oh come on you know you love him a voice in her head said
No I don't
Yes you do
No I don't
Ok so maybe I do but he'll never love me, he thinks I'm some sort of whore.
Finally Lily couldn't cry anymore and she fell asleep felling worse than she had ever felt in her entire life.
