Ten minutes later, they could see the castle coming to sight. Holding her breath she followed them into the cold castle. One of the soldiers whispered to another soldier and he went inside a great big door. A while later he came back saying, "His majesty will see you now.."
Nodding, she went inside. She could see the king on his high throne looking down on her.
"So, are you what they say you are?" he bellowed.
"N-no sir. I am just a normal girl!" she managed to choke out. Her eyes wide open in horror at the thought that he didn't believe her.
"Then why would your own mother turn you in?"
"I don't know" she whispered.
"How dare you speak to the king with a "I don't know?" he yelled.
"I'm s-s-orry.." she said hurriedly adding a Your majesty at the end.
