Hermione was running she couldn't make it he was to fast she had no where to run to she turned around and slammed her door shut. She could hear her breathing mixed with her hammering heart beat ringing in her ears. He was coming. Her door broke off the hinges and there stood the man she had been living with for the past year outside of Hogwarts, he stood there with his black hair in his eyes and sweat all over his forehead he had a knife and a rope she knew what was coming, and she was unable to stop it. He was here again......
Hermione woke up screaming. Why wouldn't he leave her alone? Why was he always there? Where was she safe? Just then her door slammed open she went to scream again in fear it was him. But instead stood a tall blond haired man with deep gray eyes. She couldn't keep her eyes off Draco. Why couldn't she he had after all taunted her for 5 years, although he did apologize for that? She didn't know what to think.
Finally he broke the silence "Are you alright? I heard you scream and I was worried."
He was worried? "yeah I am fine I think" she said meekly
"are you sure?" No she wasn't. She was deathly afraid. But she didn't know of she could trust him with that.
"No"
"Well are you going to be alright?"
"Yes" he nodded and turned to walk away when she stopped him "Draco?" He slowly turned around alarmed that she used his first name. "could you .....oh never mind its stupid"
He walked over and looked her in the eyes and said "No what is it Hermione you can tell me"
She sighed, "could you stay here with me tonight?" she asked a little too quickly. As soon as she said it she regretted it. She braced herself for the cold heartless laugh that would come from him but it never hit her. Instead he surprised her by nodding and standing up. She scooted over and let him lay next to her. Soon they had their arms wrapped around each other and Hermione fell asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
