Chapter 2 A Worried Feeling
Kagome sat in Inuyasha's arms, waiting for him to awaken. The sun was quite high now and a russleing was felt behind her.
"Morning Kagome." he said sleepily, "How long have you been awake?"
First she turned and kissed him, then she smiled. "Not long,since dawn." She sounded worried.
"Kagome what's wrong is it-"
"No, no...I got a message in my dream....a warning. A new enemy is coming." she still sounded worried.
"But we got rid of Naraku...and the jewel...who else is there?"
"I don't know, but someone...I'm scared Inuyasha...." she felt herself get pulled into him.
"Don't be...I'll always protect you." she smiled.
"Thank you." she closed her eyes and felt his embrace. She didn't ever want him to let her go.
It had been a year since the group had defeted Naraku and destroyed the jewel.
Sango, Miroku and Shippo had gone to live in Miroku's home town. Kirara had stayed in Kiaeda's village with Kagome and Inuyasha.
Occasionally Kagome, who was given a hut to share with Inuyasha, would go into Inuyasha Forest and sleep under the stars. Many a time, Inuyasha would join her.
About two hours after Inuyasha had woken up, the two set out to Miroku's village to tell them about the new enemy. Kagome hoped they could help them figure out what to do next.
