Fire Demon

This is the second part of my Character poems. This poem is about a certain Fire Demon and what i think of him and want of him. One-shot, made during math class '

Little Fire Demon,

do you know yourself?

I hear you cry at night,

I hear your heart break.

Who is it you cry for?

Who is it that would put a smile on your face?

Who would mend your heart?

How are you not afraid,

not even of death?

I am here with you,

i will stay with you,

if you will allow it.

You know not what love is,

i can teach you.

You know little of compassion,

i will help you.

Come with me.

I will open your eyes.

You will see the world anew.

My beloved Fire Demon,

do not be afraid.

I am here with you,

and i will be forever.

You need not love me,

because all i need,

is to be at your side.

My Fire Demon,

your body is so warm,

i can feel the heat,

but your heart is so cold.

Will nothing melt it?

Or will it simply shatter?

I want you to be happy,

i want to see your smile,

i want to hear your laugh.

I love you,

I love you with all my heart.
