A Look Inside

These people at Roscoe High think they know me. They don't know anything about me, though. Not the real me. All they know--All I've known since middle school--is the personality I let them see. I figure that if they knew the real me, I wouldn't appeal to them so much. I only come to this conclusion because, before I hit sixth grade, I was "myself" and no one liked that River. And somehow, being an arrogant jerk appeals to people. Amazing, isn't it? The one thing that you would think people shun the most, they love out of me. I don't think I'll ever understand the people at this school, but that doesn't matter anymore. I'm in my last year. After this, I can leave this place and never look back. I can, but I probably will look back. Sometimes.

Notes - Well, that was fun. I guess. I dunno. It was just a thing that came to me. Originally, I thought I'd make a short one-shot, which, I guess, I did. But I hadn't expected it to be a drabble. Ok, so the word count was 142 which is 42 words OVER a drabble, but....it's still close! lol
